PAUL'S LOVERS

Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.” John 14: 15,21,23,24. In other words, Jesus said anyone who doesn’t keep His commandments doesn’t love Him, but anyone who keeps His commandments will be loved by Jesus’ Father, and Jesus and His Father will come to him and make Their home with Him. Wow, what else do we want? Is that not all that we want, to live with Him forever? Some time ago I saw a well-known preacher with His choir singing on TV, and repeatedly singing “I love you, Jesus”, and “I love you, Jesus”. I called that a big pile of old intestinal...

CHECK AGAIN

Jesus said, " Enter by the narrow gate; for wide [is] the gate and broad [is] the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow [is] the gate and difficult [is] the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. ” Matthew 7:13-14. Okay, let me summarize the important facts that I want all my readers to know and understand from reading Matthew 7:13-14. First, these are the words of Jesus . He tells us that going to heaven is difficult, and not easy. And the reason why it is difficult is because we have to do it His way, and not do it our way. Believing or having faith in Jesus only will not guarantee us salvation. For example, if I am your employer and all you do for me is just sit on your buttocks, do you think I will give you a raise? No, I would not. I would not because I am smarter than you. Why did I say I am smarter than you? Because I am ready to fire you in a minute or so. So, don’t you believe anyone who tells you that bel...

RELIGION, BUSINESS, ETHICS.

Religion in the world is like any other profit-making business. The only difference is that the business of operating a religious institution is tax-free, whereas McDonald's and Burger King are not. They promise some form of physical or spiritual nourishment to their customers. They promise some kind of satisfaction that will meet their needs while they are alive, or after they are dead. And they all employ local salesmen to sell their products on-site, just like any business. For example, a car dealership employs car salesmen and a church employs Jesus' salesmen, such as Pastors, Preachers, and Bible teachers. They all have products to sell. A church wants to sell us Jesus' promises of eternal life, and a car dealership wants to sell or lease a car to us that will make us happy. Unfortunately, not all salesmen are honest, car’s or Jesus' salesmen. Where do ethics fit in? Ethics, I believe, should be an important and integral part of religion and business! In fact, I ...

HOLY SPIRIT

Today I want to talk a little bit about the Holy Spirit.  What is the Holy Spirit and what is its function? Let’s see what Jesus says first. I look to Him first for the answer. Why? Because He is the source of everything that I know and have.  Jesus said to His disciples, "And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper , that He may abide with you forever "the Spirit of truth” , whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. ” John 14:16-17. Jesus said to His disciples that they know Him. What do they know about the "Holy Spirit"? What do they know about God the Son? What do they know about God the Father? The majority of Christians know God the Father and God the Son. The disciples know what Jesus said, and what Jesus did. On the Day of Pentecost, the disciples knew that the Holy Spirit was Jesus' spirit, The Spirit of Truth. Acts 2:17. The Holy Spit is ...

CONTEXTUAL CHRISTIANS

What is a Contextual Christian? My definition of a Contextual Christian is a person who is always trying to find ways to evade or circumvent the commandments of God. This is the same as the Biblical scholar's definition of Contextual Christianity. A good example of contextual characters are Adam and Eve. They tried to evade or circumvent God's orders not to eat the fruit so that they can eat the fruit that God had told them not to eat. They want their will be done on earth as it is in heaven. This is the main character of Contextual Christians. God told Adam and Eve that they can eat the fruit of every tree in the garden except one. If they do, they will die. But Adam and Eve want to eat the fruit that God had told them not to eat. They disregarded God. They ignored God. And they didn't care! When God found out that Adam and Eve have this kind of character, He instantly kicked them out without a minute of hesitation. They succeeded in circumventing God's orders. But ...

CREDIT PROFILE

Brothers and Sisters, how are you all doing? I hope you and your family are all doing well and in good health. Today I want to talk with my readers about something that I have never talked about before. And that is about establishing a credit profile with the Kingdom of God. Have you established a credit profile with the Kingdom of God yet? If you have not, I urge you to establish a credit profile with the same creditor that I have. His name is Jesus Christ. He is honest. He tells you the truth. Here is an example of how honest He is. "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right-hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:29-30. What is He telling us? He wants us to be serious about ...

HE IS ALIVE!

When Jesus came into the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, He said to them, "Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping." And they ridiculed Him. But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.” Matthew 9:23-26. Jesus said that the dead is not dead. The dead are sleeping. Do you believe what Jesus said? If you believe Him, you have proven that you have faith in Jesus. If you don't believe what Jesus said, no problem. Find another “Jesus” that you can believe. Or, invent your own “Jesus” today. “Then they struck Him on the head with a reed and spat on Him; and bowing the knee, they worshiped Him. And when they had mocked Him, they took the purple off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him out to crucify Him. Then they compelled a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, the father of Alexander and Rufus, as he was coming out of the country and passing by, to bear His cross. And they bro...

WHO ARE WE WITNESSING?

Who are we witnessing? Are we witnessing Jesus, or are we witnessing ourselves? Are we witnessing Jesus, or are we witnessing the Scribes, Pharisees, Torah Scholars, or Biblical Scholars? Who are we witnessing? Or, are we witnessing ourselves? Jesus said, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16. What did Jesus say? He told us to let our light shine. Why? So people who see our light shine can see the good works of the Father that we are doingnm. And when we do that, we are glorifying our Father’s Name in Heaven. Are we bragging? No! We are glorifying the Name of our Father in Heaven. "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstan...
