LOGIC

According to Webster’s dictionary, logic is defined as “a science that deals with the principles and criteria of validity of inference and demonstration: the science of the formal principles of reasoning”.  In 1 Kings 3:9, we read that King Solomon asked God for wisdom, "Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge these great people of Yours?" In 1 Kings 3:9, we read that King Solomon asked God for wisdom, "Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge these great people of Yours?" God heard his request and gave Solomon the logic and the wisdom that he asked for so that he could differentiate between good and evil in reigning over his people. Logic is a gift from God. Wisdom is also a gift from God. Not everyone is born with the same quantity and the same quality of logic...

ARE WE DUPLICATES OF THE PHARISEES?

Most Christians today, if not the majority of them, are by definition confused Christians. One of the main reasons why they were confused, I think, was because they tried to memorize the writings of the Apostle Paul without having a clear understanding of what Paul was saying. They do not have a clear picture of the writings of the Apostle Paul because Paul wrote like an experienced lawyer, and most preachers are not experienced lawyers to interpret Paul's writings, but they love to think that they know everything that Paul wrote or said because it doesn't seem too difficult to comprehend. Really? What most Christian preachers or ministers know about Paul's writings in the Bible can be summed up in just one word - grace . They were trained in Bible schools or seminaries to become followers of Paul. So they surround themselves with other Paul's followers who are always looking for excuses to receive “grace” from God without understanding what grace requires of them. Th...

KRISTEN BINGUNG

HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD WE FORGIVE?

According to Jesus, how many times should we forgive others who have offended us? Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.” Matthew 18:21-22 Forgiving others is not easy. Forgiving ourselves is even harder. Many people find it hard to forgive others who have wronged them, however small. But Jesus wants us to forgive others who ask, or do not ask for forgiveness, so forgiving becomes second nature to us. There is no limit to how many times we can forgive others. This is His Rule. This is Jesus’ Law. If we have sinned against God, how many times can we ask God to forgive us? Again, there is no limit. Every time we ask Him for forgiveness, He will forgive us. That is His nature. That’s His law. That is how He is. Ephesians 4:32 says, “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as Go...
