PREVENIENT GRACE

What is prevenient grace? Does any of my readers know what it is? I had no idea what it meant until now, a couple of minutes ago. I entered the question “Who came up with the idea that we are saved by grace, and not work” on Google search box, and here is what I got, “ The concept was first developed by Augustine of Hippo (354–430), was affirmed by the Second Council of Orange (529) and has become part of Catholic theology. It is also present in Reformed theology, through the form of an effectual calling leading some individuals irresistibly to salvation.” Prevenient grace-Wikipedia . I want all my readers to know and understand that most of our so-called Protestant Christian beliefs come from the Catholics. Read this second link carefully, Grace in Christianity-Wikipedia .  So, my question is why don’t we Protestants join the Catholics? The Catholics are good individuals. Most of our current Protestant church doctrines come from the Catholics. We have none. The only Protestant ch...

THE INDISPUTABLE FACTS

Whose idea was it that Jesus died to redeem our sins? Was it the idea of Martin Luther (a Catholic religious reformer), or Martin Luther King Jr, (a Protestant preacher)? According to Wikipedia, the idea came from a Catholic Priest,  Martin Luther . Everyone was following a Catholic leader or priest, including worshiping God on Sundays. Who changed the Sabbath to Sunday? The Roman Emperor  Constantine the Great  changed the Sabbath to Sunday on March 7, A.D. 321, to help his pagan followers accept the Christian transition. He knew that Jesus and His disciples observed the Sabbath, but to please his pagan worshipers who worship the sun he changed the  Sabbath to Sunday.  The Catholics took credit for this change, and almost all of the Protestants were following the mother church closely from behind in observing the Catholics' traditions such as Christmas, Easter, Good Friday, etc. without a question. Why are the Protestants observing the Sabbath on a Sun...

FORGET PAUL

Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?" Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. "He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me. "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14: 15,21-24,27. "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prep...

FAITH PLAYS NO ROLE IN OUR SALVATION

Preachers, pastors, ministers, and Bible teachers from every Christian denomination know or should have known that faith plays no role in our salvation. How do I know that? “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is [the Book] of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works , by the things that were written in the books.” Revelation 20:12. Revelation tells us that when the Book of Life is opened, we will be judged not by the amount of faith that we have, but we will be judged by our works . Faith plays no role in our salvation. "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you ...

PASTORS, PLEASE.

Today I am going to write something that I hope will make nobody mad at me. This article is for my friends who are pastors and preachers. Pastors and preachers are expected to be the spiritual doctors of people who hear or come in contact with them. As such, they must be familiar with the Biblical terms used in the Bible. For instance, when they say that Isaac was saved because of the faith of Abraham, they must make sure that the faith of Abraham saves Isaac, and not something else. What does the Bible say that saves Isaac? “And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. But the Angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, "Abraham, Abraham!" So he said, "Here I am." And He said, "Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God since you have not withheld your son, your only [son], from Me." Genesis 22:10-12. As the text clearly shows, Isaac was saved not because of the faith of A...

DISAPPOINTMENTS AT THE END TIME

Today I am going to write about the disappointments that millions of Christians will face at the end of time when Jesus returns. Please be aware that these are not the only ones. There are more disappointments that Jesus has said that Christians will face, and I want you to do your own research. First, I want to start with Matthew 7:21-23. "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Jesus said that not everyone who says Lord, Lord, or Jesus, Jesus, shall go to heaven, but he who does the will of Jesus’ Father in heaven . What is the will of Jesus’ Father? I will tell you in a minute what it is. We know that these men or women that Jesus was ...

MANY ARE CALLED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN

This morning I want to discuss with my readers about a topic that is very close to my heart. I feel that we should know where we are going in our partnership with Jesus. First, I want to know whether He has called me , or whether He has chosen me to be His follower. This is the most important question that I ask myself everyday. Why? Because Jesus has called many of His disciples, but not all of them are chosen. Judas Iscariot was called, but not chosen. He did not stay faithful with Jesus until the end. He betrayed Jesus when Jesus was still alive. He betrayed Jesus with his lips and his deeds . There are other Christians who were called but later betrayed Jesus after He resurrected and returned to heaven. And so, brothers and sisters, just because a person is a pastor, a preacher, a radio evangelist, a tv evangelist, or even  one of Jesus’ disciples does not automatically mean that he is chosen to represent Him. Judas Iscariot, as we all know, betrayed Jesus, and he was one o...

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHY NO ANSWER?

Have you ever wondered why God has not responded to our prayers? Maybe He heard our prayers as hyperbole or spam, the same way we read His holy words - as hyperbole or spam. Brothers and Sisters, let me assure you that as long as we read His words as hyperbole or spam, He will never answer our prayers. As long as we make fun of Him, He doesn't take our prayers literally while He sits on His throne in Heaven. Why should He when we don't take His words literally? Don't we know that He is our King? Do we not fear Him? Do we not have any respect for Him at all? God knew that we were treating His holy words as hyperbole or spam. And now we are asking Him to bless our home, our children, etc. after all we did to His holy words? Why are we wondering why He hasn’t responded to our prayers yet? Why? We can ask Satan to bless our home, our children, etc. Try that for a change. If you dare to even mention Satan's name in vain, someone will visit you every night and tickle your foo...

HYPERBOLE

What is hyperbole? Do you know what the meaning of hyperbole is without looking it up in your dictionary? Well, here it is from Oxford Languages: exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally . My brother was dead at 25 years of age from a sudden minor illness that no doctor knew what it was. He was the victim of black magic . Did I hear somebody say that they don't believe in black magic? Believe or do not believe is irrelevant. Black magic exists in many Asian, Middle Eastern, and other parts of the world. Potent Black magic practitioners who produce consistent results make tons of money. Jesus said, "Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First, be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” Matthew 5:23-24. My brother hurts the feelings of someone close to him very badly! He doesn't care. For years he h...

TAILOR-MADE

Today I want to write about something that I have never written before. And that is on the topic of tailor-made religion. What is a tailor-made religion? A tailor-made religion is developed by the founder(s) of a religion to fit their needs. It is a hybrid of the teachings of Jesus, the teachings of Paul, the teachings of some Old Testament prophets, and the teachings of the founder(s) of the religion. In other words, the founder(s) of the religion believe in serving multiple masters, and not only Jesus. And the leaders of the group insist that their followers must serve multiple masters. And many Christians follow them despite the warnings that Jesus gave us in Matthew 6:24. Is that not mind-boggling? Paul has predicted his tailor-made religion in 2 Timothy 4:3-4, “ For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, [because] they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn [their] ears away ...
