DISAPPOINTMENTS AT THE END TIME
Today I am going to write about the disappointments that millions of Christians will face at the end of time when Jesus returns. Please be aware that these are not the only ones. There are more disappointments that Jesus has said that Christians will face, and I want you to do your own research.
First, I want to start with Matthew 7:21-23. "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'”
Jesus said that not everyone who says Lord, Lord, or Jesus, Jesus, shall go to heaven, but he who does the will of Jesus’ Father in heaven. What is the will of Jesus’ Father? I will tell you in a minute what it is. We know that these men or women that Jesus was referring to are men/women of great faith. They can prophecy in His name, they can cast out demons in His name, and they can do wonders or miracles in His name. There is no question about their faith.
But Jesus says to them `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' Why?
These men/women of great faith have not been following the law. Following the law is the will of Jesus’ Father that these men/women of great faith did not do. And so, Brethern, going to church every Sunday, every Sabbath, or even every day does not guarantee our salvation. But keeping His commandments will guarantee eternal life.
Jesus said if we love Him we will keep His commandments. "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?" Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.” John 14:15,21-24. Wow, what else do we want?
Jesus said if we keep his commandments “My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him." That means that there will be no disappointments when Jesus returns for the second time. We will live with Him forever! Can Paul promise us something like this? Can Peter promise us eternal life? No, no one can except Jesus! For more information about Jesus’ guarantee of eternal life to us please read my article Many Are Called, But Few Are Chosen.

Finally, Jesus said, "But he who endures to the end shall be saved." Matthew 24:13. When is the end? The end is when the Book of Life is opened. "And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is [the Book] of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. Revelation 20:12. Revelations tell us that when the Book of Life is opened, we will be judged not by the amount of faith that we have, but we will be judged according to our WORKS. Faith plays NO PART in our salvation, as you can see yourself. That's why Jesus said, "But he who endures to the end shall be saved." Matthew 24:13. When is the end? The end is when the Book of Life is opened - the end
When Satan, the roaring lion, is determined to consume us, no human can escape his trap unless Jesus watches our backs; unless Jesus makes our home His home. God bless.
