THE PARABLES OF JESUS
One of the ways that Jesus like to teach was through parables. It is easier to understand, so they say. I disagree unless the reader can understand what he/she reads or hears. Not every parable that Jesus used is that simple to understand. Some parables can be interpreted in more than one way. For example, read this parable in Matthew 15:10-20. “When He had called the multitude to [Himself], He said to them, "Hear and understand : "Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth , this defiles a man." Here Jesus was talking about words that come out of our mouths that can defile us and not foods that come in or out of our mouths! Then His disciples came and said to Him, "Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?"
