HYPOCRITE
What is a hypocrite? A hypocrite is one whose actions belie stated belief. Jesus talks a lot about hypocrites in the Bible. For example, an individual who swears allegiance to Jesus but at the same time faithfully serves the interest of Jesus’ enemy is a hypocrite. Why? Because the enemy’s interest is opposite to Jesus’ interest. One cannot serve the interest of opposing parties ideas unless he is a hypocrite. The action of a hypocrite is inconsistent with its stated belief. The hypocrite cannot be totally faithful to Jesus. Jesus wants us to be faithful to Him only . Remember this? Jesus said, "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24. Jesus wants us to serve Him only. He doesn’t want us to serve Him and serve the mammon of Tarsus. Do you, readers understand?
