PROPHECIES

Jesus, the COMMANDER IN CHIEF of HEAVEN said, "But many [who are] first will be last, and the last first.” (Matthew 19:30). What did He mean by this? I am going to explain to you the meaning of what He said by giving you some examples from the Bible. But first I want my readers to understand what Jesus said here. "But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” Matthew 24:13. Judas Iscariot was a good example of one of the many who came first but was last. Judas Iscariot was called but he was not chosen. He did not stay faithful until the end. He did not endure till the end. Jesus said only those who endure till the end will be saved! There are many Christians who believed that they have been saved because they have been Christians for 50 years, just like those Christians described in Matthew 7:21-23, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `L...

FEAR OF THE LORD

"The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom , and the knowledge of the Holy One [is] understanding. For by me, your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you (Proverbs 9:10-11). Yes, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. In fact, I believe that the fear of the Lord is our only source of wisdom that comes from God! And not only that, the fear of the Lord is what motivates us to fully obey Him. Abraham was ready to sacrifice his only son Isaac because of fear of the Lord, and not because of his faith in God. What do you think motivates most people to obey the law, love the police, or fear the police? Love for the IRS, or fear of the IRS? Love for the SWAT team, or fear of the SWAT team? Many of today’s Christians say that they love Jesus. But Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep My commandments."  Do we keep His commandments? No, we do not. We ignore them. Do you know why? Because we have no fear of the Lord, only ...

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

Do we know that God’s Ten Commandments are found in the Old and in the New Testament as well? God the Father first gave us the old Ten  Commandments through Moses to the Jews during their flight from bondage (Exodus 20:2-17). And later God the Son, Jesus, gave us the short or abbreviated version of the Ten Commandments in Mark 12:30-31. `And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This [is] the first commandment. "And the second, like [it, is] this: `You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." Jesus finds it necessary to repeat the Ten Commandments and the Sabbath in Mark 12:30-31, and in Matthew 24:20. Why did Jesus give us the abbreviated version of the Ten Commandments? I think He knew that today’s Christians are sick and tired of listening to the longer version of the Ten Commandments and the Sabbath. They cared less of the shorter ...
ALL ABOUT HEAVEN Have you ever lived in a country, small or large, that has only two laws, love, and grace ? What country is that? It’s called the Kingdom of Heaven, you said. Really? According to many of today’s Christians, most of them will be eligible to live in the Kingdom of God based on love and grace. Really? No kidding? I have never heard of a nation like that. A place that is similar to that where love and grace abound is a place I called home. That place is owned by my mother. But she is no longer around. Mother, I missed you Mom, and I loved you! I wished I could do more for you when you were still alive. I wished Mom owns the Kingdom of God, but she doesn’t. Who owns the Kingdom of God? Don’t we already know? Here is the Man who owns the Kingdom of Heaven: "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” (Matthew 5:29); "And...
MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE Jesus said, " My sheep hear My voice , and I know them , and they follow Me. " And I give them eternal life , and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.” (John 10:27,28). "But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:13). What did Jesus say? Jesus said that His sheep hear His voice, He knows them. and they follow Him. And they will stay faithful to Him until the end. This is a short summary of the people whom Jesus will save - His sheep. Are we His sheep? This is the first question that we should ask. Do we know who our Shepherd is? Many Christians of today do not know who their Shepherd is other than Paul or their Bible teachers. Why? Because those are the people whom they follow . Do we know who our Shepherd is? No, I don't believe we know when we have so many Christian denominations or groups globally. When Jesus was on earth thousands of years ago we had only one body of Christ. Today we ha...

THE TRIAD OF SALVATION

Today I want to discuss the Triad of Salvation - work, grace, and salvation . Work is our part, grace is God’s part, and salvation is our part together - God working tog ether with us in a partnership to help us do His will. We must be in partnership with God if we want to be saved. Why? Because no one can be saved walking alone. Jesus said that only those who endure till the end will be saved. The only way that we can endure till the end is when we walk in a partnership with Him, as the Prophet Enoch did. He walked hand-in-hand with God until the finish line. Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21) What is the will of the Father? Jesus explained in the following text. "And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This [is] the first commandment.” (Mar...
