HOW DO WE DO IT?

Readers, Jesus said, "Therefore you shall be perfect , just as your Father in heaven is perfect” Matthew 5:48. Do you know why Jesus wants us to be perfect? Here's the reason why. “Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, ‘Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.” Revelation 12:10. Satan is our accuser, who accused us before our God day and night. If we Christians are found guilty of falsifying business records, for example, or guilty of any wrongful conduct that Satan has brought against us, we have greatly dishonored Jesus whom we said have died to pay for our sin ! We have not glorified His name. We have humiliated Him . Do we know that? That was the reason why God evicted Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, because they have humiliated God in the presence of Satan, the serpent. They have chosen to obey Satan, an...

GUILTY AS PROVEN

Readers, do you know that the standard that Jesus uses to determine whether we are guilty or not of wrongdoing or lawlessness is much higher than in any court in the world ? Do you know that? No, I am not making it up. Look here what Jesus said. "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not commit adultery.' "But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” Matthew 5:27-28. This is not hyperbole. Jesus exaggerates nothing. Jesus said if we look at a woman “to lust for her” we have already committed adultery. We are guilty of adultery. That is the standard that Jesus uses to determine whether we are guilty or not when we are charged with adultery, and not innocent until proven guilty. Jesus has to prove nothing! He knows whether we are guilty or innocent. That is the standard of heaven. Can we meet that standard? Why am I bringing this up, some may wonder? Because the “guilty as...

DO WE KNOW?

Brothers and Sisters. Today is Friday. I have a couple more hours of free time that I can use to write before sundown. Hopefully, I can finish my writing before dark. What is it that I want to write about? I want to continue to write about an article that I have recently published - " Heaven is a privilege, not a right " . I have no intention to discourage anyone who wants to go to heaven. And I have no intention to deceive anyone either by telling them that it is very easy to go to heaven. That is not my job. My job is to share with my readers what I have been inspired by the Spirit to write, nothing less, and nothing more. Writing in English does not come easy to me. I have to struggle to write every day. And I don’t understand either how I was able to complete sentences that my readers can understand.  One principal concept that I want my readers to understand is this, and that is that the passkey to heaven is OBEDIENCE . Do we understand that? If we don’t obey Jesus, a c...

MARTYRS

John the Apostle wrote, “When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both [the number of] their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they [were], was completed.” Revelation 6:9-11. Brothers and Sisters, the man Jesus was crucified as a martyr , but not in the same sense as the other martyrs. He had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. Jesus told John the Apostle, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, [the] Beginning and [the] End," says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." Revelation 1:8. Jesus also said to the Apos...

ARE WE SMART, OR STUPID?

Readers, I want to ask you an important question. If Martin Luther tells you to abolish God’s laws and commandments, would you do it? If the Pope tells you to abolish God’s laws and commandments, would you do it? If your preacher or pastor tells you to ignore God’s laws and commandments, would you do it? If you are smart you would not do it unless God Himself tells you not to do it! Did God tell us to abolish His laws and commandments? No, He did not! Then why are we abolishing His laws and commandments when God did not tell us to abolish His laws and commandments? Why? I heard some of you preachers say that the apostle Paul says so. Is Paul God? Did he write God’s laws and commandments? No, He did not. Then why are we doing what he tells us to do when he has nothing to do with the laws and commandments of God? Nothing at all. Is that not how smart Satan is by making us disobey God’s commandments? Satan made Adam and Eve stupid by making them listen to a serpent to disobey God. And w...

BLESSED IS THE MAN

King David wrote, “ Blessed [is] the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight [is] in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.” Psalm 1:1-2. And Jesus agreed (John 14:15). Readers, do you know why Jesus confirmed “blessed is the man whose delight [is] in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.”? I guess some readers don’t want to know, and some don’t care. And I don’t care either whether they want to know or not; but I have a job to do, and that is to explain to my readers that Psalm 1:1-2 is the will of God . And those who walk in the counsel of the ungodly, and do not delight in the law of the Lord, will be cursed ! Jesus sends them to hell ! "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not...

LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATON

“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Matthew 6:13. Readers, do you know why Jesus has taught us to include this short phrase in our prayer? Because He knows that we will be tempted not only by Satan, but also by humans like our close friends and our family members. For example, sometime ago a family member came to visit us on a Saturday. He turned the TV on to watch football, but I don’t watch TV on Saturdays. But he is not a Sabbath keeper. It was awkward for me to tell him that we don’t watch TV on a Sabbath. But I told him anyway. So, readers, be ready to face temptations from our close friends, from our relatives, from everybody, and from every spirit. How about if a friend or a relative asks you to take a DMV written test online for him because he doesn't understand English well? Would you do it? That is the reason why Jesus taught us to include the phrase “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” when we pray. Don’t forget okay? The ...

THE GOOD SHEPHERD

Jesus said, "I am the good shepherd; and I know My [sheep], and am known by My own. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me .” John 10:14,27. Jesus said that His sheep hear His voice, and they follow Him. If they follow Paul, they are not His sheep. If they follow Isaiah, they are not His sheep. If they follow Moses, they are not His sheep. If they follow Ezekiel, they are not His sheep. His sheep follow Jesus only . Why do we want to follow Paul, Isaiah, Moses, Ezekiel, and the other prophets in the Bible while those prophets worship Yahweh? Don’t we know that Yahweh = Jesus? The prophets worship Jesus. Why do we worship them when they worship Jesus? Why don’t we worship Jesus directly, and avoid the confusion of worshiping the prophets? Brothers and Sisters, let me assure you that Jesus is our God. Don’t waste our time worshiping the prophets and other idols. That makes God unhappy, and we will gain nothing by making Him unhappy. We worship God (Jesus)...
