NOAH FOUND GRACE IN THE EYES OF THE LORD

Today I want to talk a little bit about the word "grace", a word that is often abused and misused by Christians not only in the United States, but also by people all over the world. The word grace has perhaps been mentioned more than a million times by Pastors, TV evangelists, preachers, teachers, and others during the sermons in churches and in public places where they meet. If you go to every place of worship, small or large, you will hear the word "grace" repeated mentioned from the pulpits and sung in church every time they meet. "Grace" is not only the most often used word by Christian Pastors and preachers, but is also the abused, misused, and misunderstood word by Christians everywhere in the world.

Brothers and Sisters. When we say the word “grace”, what are we referring to or what are we talking about? Do we know? I am often confused when I hear Pastors talk about the word “grace” on radio, television, or from pulpits in the church. They make it sound so easy to get grace from God as if we get grace from our mothers. Do we know who God the Father is? Do we know who God the Son is? Do we know who God the Holy Spirit is? And who is our Mom? Do we know them? No, we do not, except our mothers. She had given birth and raised us since we were little children, but even then I am still seeing or hearing children leaving and abandoning their sick and poor elderly parents. But God, where is He? God is so far away from us, and we cannot see Him, we cannot touch Him.

When we were young, we were smart, and strong, and hardly anyone cared about Him. We have never seen Him. We know that GOD is NOT our mother! God is our heavenly Father, and He handles things differently than our dear Mom!

And now, I am going to introduce to you the God of Noah, whom we all knew, whom we have already heard, or have read about. The God of Noah should not be a stranger to most of us; as is the God of Moses, and the God of Daniel and Aaron, and the God of Jacob, Isaac, the God of Abraham, and the God of all of God’s Prophets who are now in heaven. They are all the same God; there is only ONE GOD. The Muslim’s called Him ALLAH, and the Jews called Him YAHWEH.

Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every intent of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them."But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.” (Genesis 6:5-8).

As we know from reading the Bible everybody else drowned and perished in the big flood, but God saved Noah and a few of his family. Why? Because God’s grace was on them. Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD! (Genesis 6:8).

Do you and I find grace in the eyes of the LORD?

Millions or billions of people died during the big flood. Would our mother do that to her children? NO!

Do you think that Noah would find grace in the eyes of the LORD if he had done like what most of today's Christians did, humiliated and insulted Him, flushed His HOLY Commandments in the toilet, changed and ignored His will, and conspired with the Beast to totally disregard His will?

"Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' (Matthew 7:21-23).

Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15). I heard some say that they have a good personal relationship with God. Really?

Why is keeping God’s commandments so important for us to do?

Adam and Eve lost eternal life because they disregarded God’s commandments. Millions of angels lost eternal life because they too ignored God’s commandments. Billions of humans drowned and perished in the big flood because they ignored and rejected God’s commandments. Does that not tell us that keeping God's commandments is very important?

Don't we know that keeping His commandments is His will? It is the basis of a good personal relationship with the LORD.
