THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
Do we know that God’s Ten Commandments are found in the Old and in the New Testament as well? God the Father first gave us the old Ten Commandments through Moses to the Jews during their flight from bondage (Exodus 20:2-17). And later God the Son, Jesus, gave us the short or abbreviated version of the Ten Commandments in Mark 12:30-31. `And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This [is] the first commandment. "And the second, like [it, is] this: `You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
Jesus finds it necessary to repeat the Ten Commandments and the Sabbath in Mark 12:30-31, and in Matthew 24:20.
Why did Jesus give us the abbreviated version of the Ten Commandments? I think He knew that today’s Christians are sick and tired of listening to the longer version of the Ten Commandments and the Sabbath. They cared less of the shorter version of His commandments. But for the sake of His children, Jesus does not mind to remind us more than once. The Shepherd loves His sheep, and His sheep hears His voice. Christians of today don’t want to hear even one commandment. I believe I am correct in making this assertion. This law that Jesus gave us is not a new law for the obedient Jews. But for the disobedient, stubborn unbelievers of the “followers” of Christ, Mark 12:30-31 is a new law. Why? Because these “followers” of Christ have no laws since they were baptized. All the original Ten Commandments from Moses are floating in their septic tank.
As you can see, the “new” abbreviated commandments from Jesus and the old Ten Commandments from God the Father are identical. They describe our obligations to God and our obligation to our fellow human beings.
Whether we are saved by grace, or saved by work is determined by these two Scriptural verses, Luke 6:46, “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?”, and Matthew 7:21, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of God; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Jesus said that only the one who does the will of the Father in heaven shall enter the kingdom of heaven, and no one else! What is the will of the Father? The will of the Father is found in what He says, in His words, and not in our heads. Never assume that we know the will of God! Those men/women described in Matthew 7:21 assumed that they they know the will of God. When Jesus meets them, Jesus sends them straight to hell, no detour.

Can one enter the kingdom of heaven if he does the will of the Apostle Paul? NO! Paul is not the owner of heaven! Can one enter the kingdom of God if he does the will of John, or Peter, or Matthew? NO! Can one enter the kingdom of heaven if he does the will of the fake prophets and teachers? Again, the answer is NO. Can one then enter the kingdom of heaven if he does the will of the Jesus' salesmen? NO, not in a million years! These Jesus peddlers cannot deliver the promises of eternal life that they promised to their customers. They sell Jesus’ promises of eternal life without any warranty, and we buy it at our own risk! No assurance, no warranty, and no refund! Why? First, because they have no clue what they are selling. Second, worst of all, they don't know what the will of the Father is. The best thing that they can do is yelling, guessing, more screaming, and more guessing.
Who are we to say that His commandments that we have chosen are the ones that He wants us to keep and that we can ignore and discard the rest? Can we read God’s mind? NO, we cannot! Read again Matthew 23:27, and don't let them confuse us!
God is sick and tired of us! He said so in the Bible. And to prove it He drowned the world that killed millions or billions of humans during Noah’s big flood.
The reason, I believe, why the Father has not destroyed the world of today is not because of His unreasonable love for the world, but because of His patience. “The Lord is not slack concerning [His] promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).
He said that He was sorry for creating us, remember? He knew that we didn’t love Him. I know also that we don’t love Him! How do I know that? Jesus said if we love Him keep His commandments. Do we keep His commandments? No, we don’t do that. We memorize Paul's commandments and teachings. What did we do with the laws that Jesus gave us? They are all floating in the septic tank of our homes.
We know that the Father is sick and tired of us. He is sick and tired of us, particularly those of us who claimed that they are Christians but deep in their hearts they don’t love God! In John 14:15 Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” What did we do? Did we honor the commandments of the Father? NO, we flushed all of the Father’s commandments in the toilet like crap. Do you think the Father will love us when we humiliated and insulted Him like that? No, He would not. If we think that He would, we are either delusional or hallucinating. Patience? Yes, that was the primary reason why He has not come yet to destroy the world today. He is patient with us, confused Christians. He is waiting for these Christians to come to their senses.
In Matthew 22:14 Jesus said, “For many are called, but few are chosen.” Not everyone whom the Father has called is chosen, and only a few people will be chosen. They are called “God’s chosen people, or the elect."
Only God’s chosen people know about the Father’s will. They are obedient to the Father’s commandments. Judas Iscariot was not. Although he was called, he was not chosen to be one of God’s people because he was not obedient to his Master.
In Luke 6:46 Jesus said, “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?”. In other words Jesus asked why are we disobedient to Him, why? In Matthew 7:21 Jesus said, “Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of God; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
Satan is our accuser. Jesus is our defender. When the time of judgment arrives, Satan will boldly stand before Jesus and say that Christians do not deserve salvation. Satan’s argument is that Christians don’t love Him! Jesus asks Satan to prove his case. And Satan’s answer is John 14:15.
Most Christians of today don’t love Jesus. If they love Jesus they will do what Jesus tells them to do. But if they love themselves, and not Jesus, they won’t follow His commandments. They do what they want to do.

Finally, don't assume that we know what the will of God is. It takes wisdom to know the will of God.
