WHY?

 

Have you asked yourself why was Jesus crucified by His enemies, the Pharisees, and the Jewish Theologians or Torah Scholars? They accused Jesus of blasphemy because Jesus said that He is the Son of God. And claiming that you are the Son of God is a serious offense. Blasphemy is a serious offense, even among some of today’s Christians. And so it is in Saudi Arabia. These are some of the countries that I know that you have to be careful, very careful when you talk about their gods. For instance, I heard that the Muslims in Malaysia are very much against Christians in Malaysia who called their God Allah because the Muslims in Malaysia also called their God Allah. Allah means God in Malay and in Indonesian language. I don’t know what the government in Malaysia can do about this. I am glad that in Indonesia no one has a copyright on the word “Allah”. But still, no one can say bad things about “Allah”.

Let us now see what Jesus said about why the Jews hated Him. Jesus said to His disciples, "The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil.” John 7:7. In other words He said that the world cannot hate pastors, preachers, Bible teachers, and so forth because they don’t preach the evil works of the world. They do not preach the truth. John 7:7 is the message that made the Jews furious! This is the message that I believe should be broadcasted from every pulpit in every church in America.

We should stop pleasing the world. Jesus came to earth and died on the cross not to please the world. He came and died for us to bring the truth as He had said before Pilate during His final hearing. Nothing but the truth.

I am encouraged to hear that retired pastors from Indonesia who now live in the U.S. occasionally travel to remote areas in Indonesia to convert Muslims to become Christians. They were financed by Indonesians who live in the U.S. Generally, I have nothing negative to say about their missionary work in Indonesia. Some teams have converted five souls in one area, while others have converted ten souls in a different area. And I also have heard or read about these people who have converted from Islam to Christianity. The majority of them who converted, however, don’t stay faithful very long. Why?

What do we now have? We have converted 15 poor Muslims to 15 poor Christians. The pastors return home believing that they have done a good job in Indonesia. Have they?

James 2:16 says, “and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what [does it] profit?”

These poor Christians were confused because they do not see any changes in their lives. And they are still waiting for help.

I think we have to be very honest with them and tell the truth. Don’t make promises to them that we cannot deliver.

These poor Muslims want to become Christians because they were led to believe that their future will be different. Just be very honest with them. God bless!

PASTOR-ATTORNEY

Now as Paul thus made his defense before King Agrippa, Festus, a Roman procurator said with a loud voice, "Paul, you are beside yourself! Much learning is driving you mad!" Acts 26:24. I believe that all Christian Pastors should be trained as lawyers or Attorneys-at-Law. Why? Because the Bible is a law book. It has cases, laws, regulations, commandments, rules, etc. You can learn about civil law and cases in law libraries called reporters or law reports. Reading the Bible is not like reading a novel. The Bible is a collection of the history of law since Adam and Eve. The Bible is a law book! Many Christians are confused when they read the Bible, especially the writings of the apostle Paul. CONFUSED?

Today I am going to write a few more words in case some of my readers are still not fully clear about what Jesus said when He said in Matthew 10:28, "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Why did Jesus say that we should fear a God that can kill the soul, and not kill the body only? Do you know why? Most Christians don’t know the answer. They think that once we are dead we are done, finished. Once we are punished and burned in hell to ashes, there is nothing more to it, right? No, you are wrong! Why? Because the holy spirit tells me that while killing our body doesn’t take much work, a simple lethal IV infusion or high voltage electric current of an electric chair will kill our body, killing our soul is a different story. LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE

Jesus said, "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world . A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. JUDAISM vs. CHRISTIANITY

Today I am going to write about a topic that I have not written about before. What drives me to write on this subject is not new. It’s about the shocking number of Christian denominations  that many of my readers have already heard or read on the Internet - over 45,000 worldwide. And there is only one Jesus. SABBATH

"And pray that your flight may not be in the winter or on the Sabbath . For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened.” Matthew 24:20-22. Jesus said that we should pray that our flight will not occur on a Sabbath when the Great Tribulation time arrives. Why ? Because the Sabbath must still be observed as a holy day thousands of years later after Jesus was crucified. This should tell us that whoever teaches that the ten commandments is abolished after Jesus was crucified will heavily pay the price for teaching lies and deceiving people. ALL ABOUT THE HEART

Readers, do you know that when Jesus or Yahweh returns He will not only judge us by our deeds, but He will judge us first by the intention behind our deeds? Do we know that? Do you know that? If our intention is bad, God will send us straight to hell, no detour!  “Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every intent of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually. THE TRIAD OF SALVATION

Today I want to discuss the Triad of Salvation - work, grace, and salvation . Work is our part, grace is God’s part, and salvation is our part together - God working tog ether with us in a partnership to help us do His will. We must be in partnership with God if we want to be saved. Why? Because no one can be saved walking alone. Jesus said that only those who endure till the end will be saved. The only way that we can endure till the end is when we walk in a partnership with Him, as the Prophet Enoch did. He walked hand-in-hand with God until the finish line. Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21) What is the will of the Father?
