DID JESUS DIE TO PAY FOR OUR SINS?
Jesus did not die to pay for our sins. Why? Because He did not! And that was not the reason why the Jews wanted to crucify Jesus. The Jewish leaders did not accuse Jesus before the Roman authorities for paying our sins. No, they did not. Ask the Jews why they wanted to stone/crucify Jesus.
In John 10:32-33 Jesus said to the Jews, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?” “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.” You see, if you live in America and claim to be God, and you mess up the road traffic, they put you in a mental hospital. But in the town where Jesus lived they will stone you to death. Blasphemy is a serious offense. And so is changing God’s commandments, such as changing the Ten Commandments. In America, we can change God’s commandments any way we like. Try that in Iran or in strict Muslim countries. Aren’t we glad that we live in America and we can still make money by changing God’s commandments without losing a tooth or teeth?
I know a Christian woman who was divorced for many years, and she is single. Her children are all adults. This Christian woman has no plan to marry a man. One weekend she goes with her man, boyfriend, to a place or a motel for the weekend, and have sex. Every week the same story, sex and more sex, but not married. The Ten Commandments forbid adultery. And I thought, what Christian religion does she belong to? What Christian religion does he belong to? What Christian religion does not prohibit adultery? The “law of Christ” religion?
There are about 45,000 Christian denominations worldwide. Which are the guilty ones? The only ones that I can think of are those who believe in the “law of Christ”. Love God and love your neighbor, that’s it. I don’t know which churches believe in “the law of Christ”. Maybe there are hundreds or thousands of them? No Sabbath keeping, no ten commandments, and no prohibitions on sexual adultery. It sounded to me like those believers who believe in the “law of Christ” religion, “love God and love your neighbor”, that have no law that prohibits adultery. The Ten Commandments laws are not the same as the “law of Christ” by definition. You can find out for yourself the big difference between the Ten Commandments and the “law of Christ”.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'”
Do you know what “practice lawlessness” means? It means living in sin. Sin is a violation of God’s laws. It has nothing to do with faith, doing good, or performing miracles.
We can live in sin, but we cannot avoid punishment on Judgment Day when Jesus returns.
Jesus didn't die for our sins! If you ask the Jews why they want to crucify Jesus, they will tell you an entirely different conflicting reasons from what you now believe.
Jesus wants us to pay for our sin by either repenting and asking Him to forgive us of our sins, or do the following, "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. "And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:29,30. Pick our choice.
Finally, while hanging on the cross Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." And they divided His garments and cast lots.” Luke 23:34.

Jesus did not want to die for us! In Matthew 26:39 Jesus said, “He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You [will]." Jesus knew that death is the punishment for blasphemy.
The hearing that Jesus had before Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor of Judea, was a legal hearing. Unfortunately, Jesus had no legal representatives to defend Him. In the end, the decision of judge Pontius Pilate stands, and that was to crucify Jesus. That, Bro, is Pilate’s court decision. Jesus has no right to appeal, as we American citizens have if we believe that we are not guilty.
When I stand before Jesus on Judgment Day, will He say "Father, forgive Henoch, for he does not know what he does?"
Christians know what they have done, or what they have been doing to Jesus. We have been humiliating Jesus before Satan every day. Will Jesus forgive us? Thank You, Jesus!
