ALL OR NONE
I want to talk about a topic that most of us are already familiar with, and that is about cremation.
And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" He said to him, "What is written in the law? What is your reading [of it]?" So he answered and said, "`You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and `your neighbor as yourself.'" And He said to him, "You have answered rightly; do this and you will live." Luke 10:25-28.
Jesus said there are two conditions that we must meet if we want to inherit eternal life. "`You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and love `your neighbor as yourself.'"
I want my readers to understand that these are the least that we and the lawyer must do, and they are: "`You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and `your neighbor as yourself,'" if eternal life is our goal.
I know that most of my readers understand what the word ”do” and "and" means. Jesus wanted us to do both - "`You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and `your neighbor as yourself.'" And He said to him, "You have answered rightly; do this and you will live." Luke 10:25-28. If we meet only one of the two conditions we will not live. We will go to hell. We must do both of what He told the lawyer to do if we want to get eternal life. That’s what Jesus told the lawyer. And that’s what He told us. His offer is a contract. I know that some context Christians will argue and say, Jesus said those words to the lawyer, and not to the rest of us who are not lawyers. You can say whatever you want, Bro, but I want you to know that He can hear what you say even though He is millions of miles away from you.
Okay, how can we love Jesus with all our hearts, with all our souls, with all our strength, and with all our minds? Jesus said in John 14:15, “If you love Me keep all my commandments.” If you say you have, can you explain to me and to the world which commandments have you kept? As far as I know, Christians have kept none of His commandments because they said that His commandments were nailed on the cross when Jesus died on the cross. In Matthew 24:35, however, Jesus said that "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Have heaven and earth passed away when Jesus was nailed on the cross? No, they have not. Then why rushed and abolished all of His commandments when heaven and earth have not passed away yet, why? Were we desperate to make money? Were we desperate to buy a new car? Or were we desperate to buy a new home?
I heard some of you say that you have helped homeless people with $10,000.00. That doesn’t count because we have claimed a tax deduction on our 1040, and we have been rewarded by the IRS. What more do we want? More deduction, more reward?
Please be serious! And while you are in a serious mind tell your preacher and your Bible teacher to be serious also!
God wants us to work for our salvation. He wants the lawyer to work for his salvation. He wants you to work for your salvation.
Some say we are saved by “grace”? Whose grace can save us if we cannot show work that He would or could accept? That’s all nonsense! Do you know why God destroyed millions and billions of souls during the big flood? They could show no work that Yahweh could accept. And God killed them all. No good work, no grace.
Look here. In Revelation 3:15-18 Jesus said "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot. "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. "I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, [that] the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.” What did God say? He said He knows our WORKS, not our faith, belief, and all the other nonsense. He also said we have vision problems! We need some medicines for our eyes so we can see.
Jesus has no grace for Adam and Eve. Jesus has no grace for Lucifer and millions of his angels. God the Father has no grace for the millions of people whom He destroyed during the big flood. Do you want to know who perished during the big flood? Senior citizens, adults, young people, and babies were all wiped off the face of the earth. No grace!
Brothers and Sisters. Jesus' offer is a contract with conditions. If we do not meet the terms of His contract, He has only one option left for us: CREMATE US ALIVE!
That is one of His plans that He has for us when He returns - cremate us alive, body and soul.
Is that what we want?
