Our religious freedom in this country is truly amazing. I have never seen or heard of the freedom that our government gives us to worship Jesus, Allah, Yahweh, Rocks, Trees, or anything that we want to worship, compared to other countries. Israel, for instance, limits what activities can Christians do to proselytize the Jews in Israel. Apparently, Israel has bad experiences with fake Christians. In this country, we have the freedom to proselytize anyone, Islam, Buddhists, Jews, Atheists, and so forth. Isn't it amazing? I think we should follow what the Jews are doing in Israel. We should prohibit Christians from proselytizing anyone from other beliefs to become Christians. In other words, a Jehovah-Witness is barred from proselytizing a Muslim, but he is free to try to convert a Catholic to become a Jehovah's Witness. A Seventh-Day Adventist is prohibited to try to convert a Buddhist to become an SDA, but they can freely try to convert a Baptist to become a Seventh-Day Adventist. The reason is simple. If a Jehovah's Witness BS a Muslim, the Muslim would not know that he is being BS-ed by the Jehovah's Witness. But the Catholic would know. Does that make sense?
Do you remember pastor Jim Jones and the Jones-town mass massacre? Do you remember him? He is a charismatic pastor. Do you remember pastor James Orsen Bakker? He is an American televangelist and a convicted fraudster. He is also a charismatic pastor. My pastor who left his wife and ran away with another female pastor from a different neighboring church is also a charismatic pastor.
What is the moral of the story? Watch for charismatic pastors. The temptation for these charismatic fast-talking pastors to do crazy things is much greater than an average-looking short and obese pastor. I talk from my experience that I have seen with people. And I am not joking. I have no time for telling jokes today.
Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves." Matthew 7:15. Jesus talks also from His experience. We should all learn from other people's experiences, and not dismiss them. Why? Because the same human experience may repeat again in you, or in other human beings. You cannot read other people's minds because you are not a spiritual being. You are a human being.
Why did Jesus give us this warning? I believe He knows that we are gullible creatures. He knows that we can easily be deceived by the devil. He knows that we can easily be deceived by false preachers. For example, when you believe that you cannot sin, is that not evidence of your gullibility? When you say that once you are saved you are saved forever, why do you need to repent? Who told you that once you are saved you are saved forever? Who told you that once you are saved you need not repent, Lucifer? How can you say that you are forever saved when you don't do what God tells you to do? Paul told you that? Is Paul your god? Paul is just a servant. Yahweh is your God. Jesus is your God, not Paul or anybody else!
"As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed." Galatians 1:9
“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you"? Luke 6:41
I have never heard before this new gospel that was brought by the new-born Christians! Absolutely absurd!
