OBEDIENCE

I want to ask my readers a question. Why do you think Adam and Eve were evicted from the Garden of Eden? Some of you may say because they ate the fruits of a tree that God had told them not to eat. Others may say because they were disobedient to God. You are all correct. Adam and Eve lost eternal life because they were disobedient to God. They did not do the will of God. They did their own will, which was contrary to God’s will. "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23 Why do you think many will be rejected in this scenario? They do not do the will of God. Millions or billions of souls perished during the big f...

"Biarkanlah mereka. Mereka adalah pemimpin buta dari orang buta. Dan jika orang bu...

COVENANT

Today I want to write a little bit about what a covenant is. A covenant, according to the Cambridge Dictionary, is a formal agreement or promise between two or more people . It is similar to a contract . Do we have a covenant with God? Yes, we do. When we are baptized, we "signed" a contract with Jesus. We promise that we will do certain things for Him, and He promises that He will do certain things for us. That is what baptism implies or means. Agree? My theory about baptism is not entirely new if you understand the reason why we are being baptized. Baptism has a purpose . Baptism is not a show to make the preacher look good. Baptism is our commitment to God! It is a contract between the person who is being baptized and God. Baptism should never be taken lightly, never! Does baptism mean that we are born again? No, not necessarily. A born-again person is a changed individual, a different or a new person. Baptism doesn't guarantee anything. What are the terms of ...

WHAT WERE THEY READING?

Proverbs 1:1-3 says, “ Blessed [is] the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”  King Solomon knew what he was talking about. “And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore. Thus Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the men of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt. And men of all nations, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom, came to hear the wisdom of Solomon.” 1 Kings 4:29, 30, 34. Do you want to know why Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the men of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt ? Because King Solomon's delight [is] ...

HOW DID THEY DO IT?

Then the LORD said to Noah, "Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen [that] you [are] righteous before Me in this generation. Genesis 7:1 Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job , that [there is] none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?" According to God, Noah is a righteous man, and Job is a blameless, upright man, who fears God and shuns evil. How did they become righteous, blameless, and upright? Were they born that way? Or were they raised that way? Who raised them that way? How did they do it? We know that Jesus was not born yet at the time of Noah and Job. The Bible was not put together yet. Paul and the other disciples were not born yet. How did Noah and Job do it? So, who were their mentors? Do we know who they were? I believe their mentor was God. Yes, it was God. God knew every one of us since we were born. He knew our potential. He knew our hearts. And God ...

EARLY RETIREMENT

Do my readers know that they can launch popular browsers, such as Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, and other popular programs from their flash drive (USB) by using a Windows app that can be downloaded for free? You can get it from https://PortableApps.com If you use SanDisk, you can password-protect your disk as well. With the flash drive, you can take it with you, instead of your laptop, and use it on a computer where you can find one. You do, however, have to download and “Install SanDisk Software” directly into your SanDisk. And you launch your browser and other Portable Apps from the USB disk, and not directly from your PC. Isn't that amazing? With the Portable Apps hackers can do little, or nothing, to damage your computer. If you should have any problems, all you need to do is reformat your USB disk, scan with your antivirus, delete every file that you see that has to do with the Portable Apps, and reinstall a new Portable Apps from the web. Remember to donate to Portable App...

THE THIEF ON THE CROSS

Today I have chosen to write a special article about the thief on the cross. This thief on the cross story is found in Luke 23:39-43. Anytime when I read this story my heart was deeply touched. Here it goes. Then one of the criminals, the first thief, who was hanged blasphemed Him, saying, "If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us. But the other, the second thief, answering, rebuked him saying, Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong. Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom." And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise." This thief was dying on the cross. He committed a lot of crimes during his lifetime for which he was punished with death on the cross. There was nothing more that he could do to save his life. The other thief on the cross looked at Jes...
