THE NEW LAW
I am going to discuss with you the new law that Jesus gave us when He was on earth. This is really not a new law. It is a shortened version of the Ten Commandments. It is the Torah law for Christians who follow Jesus. If you are a follower of the apostle Paul, however, the new law of Jesus does not apply to you. Why not? Because followers of Paul have no law to keep. They are not under the Torah law of Jesus. As such they believe that they have no sin. Why?
Because sin is defined as the transgression of God’s laws. And because they believe that there are no God’s laws to violate, adultery, cheating, coveting, living in sin, gossiping, and so forth is not a sin. They believe that whatever they do is under the “grace” law of Paul.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'”
I am sure that these men of great faith will be shocked when they hear those words coming out of Jesus' mouth because they think that they are under the “grace” law of Paul.
Brethren, do you not know that pastors and preachers are making big bucks selling scams and fraud under the sham of “grace”?
Jesus said, "`You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is [the] first and great commandment. And [the] second [is] like it: `You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 22:37-40.
