The Truth

We all agree that during the OT time, under YHWH, many souls were saved, and millions, or billions of others were destroyed during the big flood. Also, I believe that the majority of the 144,000 saved described in Revelation 14:3 occurred during the OT period. Am I sure? Yes, I am very sure! And here is my explanation.  Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15. Do Christians keep His commandments? No. Do preachers and pastors teach their members and church visitors to keep God’s commandments? NO, they do not! They teach people to abolish God’s commandments and forget about them. Do you think Jesus will include those who don’t keep His commandments, and those who don’t love Him, among the 144,000? No, He will not! Brothers and Sisters. I want to ask you this question. Jesus said, "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive , if possible, even the elect .” Matthew 24:11,24. How do we know that they are false teachers? How do we know that they are false prophets? Jesus said, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits . Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. Therefore by their fruits, you will know them .” Matthew 7:15-17,20. Jesus says that inwardly they are ravenous wolves, talking about the false teachers and false prophets. This morning I am going to write about a topic that I believe I have never written before. I will try to write as clearly as I can so that no one misunderstands me. The topic is entitled Salvation Student. What is a Salvation Student? Let me explain it this way. A Salvation Student can be likened to a Nursing Student.   Jesus said, "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28. God tells us that we should not fear those who can kill our body but not our soul. But fear Him who can kill both our body and our soul in hell. What is Jesus saying here? Let me explain. When we die, our body returns to dust. We came from dust on the ground, and we returned to dust. We know this. But where is our soul? Where does our soul go after we die? Where? Does the soul float somewhere near our graves? Or does it go back to God? I believe that both body and soul stay on earth after we die. They don’t go to heaven unless God invited them to heaven, such as His prophets, and a few others. When Jesus returns, He decides who goes to hell and who goes to heaven.   What is salvation? My simple definition of salvation is to restore the eternal life that we have lost because Adam and Eve have sinned. What is sin? Sin is the transgression of God’s will. When God created Adam and Eve the original intention was that Adam and Eve would have a permanent relationship with God. God however, revoked the permanent relationship with man because Adam and Eve did not do what God had told them to do. They were disobedient to God. Because they disobeyed God both were evicted from the Garden of Eden. They both lost eternal life. Salvation was taken away from them because they did not do the will of God. An offering is a voluntary gift. No one offers an offering when he is forced to offer an offering, no one. Except in the case of Jesus. He was forced to walk to Golgotha against His will. That’s why I find it hard to believe that He would willingly offer His life for millions of Christians who made fun of Him by trampling on His holy commandments. Have you read in the Old Testament about anybody who abolished God’s holy words? Have you read in the OT about anybody who even dares to change God’s laws and commandments? I have not. They respected their YHWH, and they feared their God. I know that if they dare to change God's words, they'll be buried alive . In America, no one feared Jesus, no one respected Jesus. Few respected the police, and few, if any, respected the law. Christians treat Jesus as a Mickey Mouse character.   Few pastors, preachers, and teachers, if any, know the true nature and character of Jesus Christ. For example, do pastors and preachers know the nature and character of Jesus? I doubt they know. I knew Him a long time ago when I read this, ”Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every intent of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. God of the Jews, God of the Gentiles, God of the people who go to church every Sunday, every Saturday, and every day says, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven . "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. ” Matthew 5:48. Why must we be perfect? Why did God of the New Testaments say that we shall be perfect? Do you know why? If you don't know, don't worry. I believe millions of Christians don’t know the answer either. In fact, another one billion more Christians are laughing at me for suggesting that we can be perfect. Go ahead, laugh as long as they want, or as loud as they want. I don’t care. We do not care! I believe that the primary reason why God wants us to be perfect is so that we can know what God’s will is. God wants us to be perfect so that we can understand what the will of God is. He has secrets that He wants to share with us. But unless we are perfect as Daniel, Moses, Enoch, Job, and His other prophets in the Old Testaments, He will share nothing with us! Why? "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide [is] the gate and broad [is] the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow [is] the gate and difficult [is] the way which leads to life , and there are few who find it .” Matthew 7:13-14. God of the New Testaments says that the road to heaven is narrow and difficult, and only a few can find it. Brothers and Sisters, have you ever driven on a road in the mountains that is narrow and tortuous? I have when I was driving my private taxi in Indonesia many decades ago. I thank God that He prevented me from making a sudden wrong turn at one of the blind intersections that could have resulted in my car going off a steep cliff.
