THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH
“For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23.
Paul says that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. I say that eternal life is incompatible with sin. We cannot have both in heaven. Why? Because there is no sin in heaven.
Jesus said, "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. "And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:29-30. Unless we hear Jesus say to us, “I say to you, today you will be with me in
Paradise," do not expect that we will live with Him in heaven while we are living in sin, unless we repent. The thief on the cross is an exception because he has no time to repent. My brother had plenty of time to repent, but he chose to live in sin until an undertaker came to take his dead body to a mortuary. That is the end of his delusion.
The apostle John says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting Life.” John 3:16. John says, whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
I say that is not true. If that is true, the demons can also have eternal life. They believe in Jesus, don’t they?
Jesus says, "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. "I am the good shepherd; and I know My [sheep], and am known by My own.” "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they FOLLOW Me.” John 10:11,14,27. They do what Jesus tells them to do. They not only hear what Jesus says, but they also do what they hear.
Paul says that the wages of sin is death. He was right because we all have sinned. And we all will die because we have sinned. And the fact that we all will die tells me that no one has redeemed our sin, no one has paid for our sin, or otherwise we would not die and live forever. Why? Because sin is the opposite of eternal life. Sin is incompatible with eternal life. Jesus was crucified on the cross not to pay for our sin. If He did, we would not die. Why? Because there was no more sin that prevented us from living forever. Before Adam and Eve committed a sin, they can live forever. We could live forever too if Jesus had died to pay for our sin, would we not? But because He did not die to pay for our sin, we all will die. As a rule, God’s gift of eternal life is given only to those who are obedient to Him. The idea that Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sin is nothing but a rotten scheme to make money in church.
In summary, I want to conclude this brief article, first, by restating what Jesus said about sinners, and then I will follow with what the disciples had said.

What do these verses tell you? They tell me that the wages of sin is death, not heaven! Disobedience to God means death. What did the apostle Paul, aka Saul say about the disobedience to God is?
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9.
This, Bro, is an example of the wages of sin - disobedience that leads to death.
