ARE WE NOT CONFUSED YET?
Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, [even] to the end of the age." Amen.” Matthew 28:19,20. Readers, have you read this important message from Jesus? He said that you and I are to teach the world all things that He has commanded us, you and me, to do! I know you were not born yet when Jesus said those words in Matthew 28:19-20. Were you born yet when Paul wrote Ephesians 2:8–9, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”? No, the majority of Christians of today were not born yet either when Paul wrote Ephesians 2:8-9. And so, if date of birth has nothing to do with following Jesus or following Paul, why are we following Paul with all our heart and soul and following Jesus with our lips only? Why? We remember every word that Paul says, but we forget every word that Jesus said. He said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23. Do you know why Jesus rejects these men/women of great faith? Because they remembered everything that Paul had said, and forgot everything that Yahweh had said. They were living in sin under Paul's grace. IF they were living in sin under God's grace, Jesus would have saved them. But Jesus did not save them. You know why? Because no one who lives in sin will be saved, no one! No one who practices lawlessness will be saved, no one!
Jesus said that we are to teach the world everything that He has commanded us to do. And one of His teaching is that no one who practices lawlessness will be saved. Are we practicing lawlessness behind closed doors ?
