THE TRUTH ABOUT SALVATION

There were a lot of people who have talked or written about salvation that I have heard or read from reading the Bible, going to church, watching the TV, or listening to the radio. But that is not the reason why I am writing this article. What I want to write here is  what Jesus has told us, you and me, about salvation, period. Or what God the Father has told me about salvation. Why? Because God the Father owns the Kingdom of Heaven, not Paul, not Judas Iscariot, nor any of His disciples who works for him. Do you understand? The rest of us are just potential  guests to the Kingdom of Heaven until we can endure till the end of time. God the Father, by way of God the Son, said that those who can endure till the end of time will be saved. (Matthew 10:22). This is the only theology of the gospel of Jesus Christ that we must remember. We are saved when we are saved, period. Salvation is not a sprint. Salvation is a marathon. The only person to whom salvation is a sprint is the thief on the cross. Are we the thief on the cross who is dying on the cross? If we are not dying on the cross, salvation is a marathon.
First of all, I want to thank God because He has inspired me every morning, day, or night what to write. He has given me the health and strength to do His job without which I cannot lift a finger on my keyboard. I also thank God for giving us children who cared a lot about us. They are supportive of what we do. I promised God that as long as He wants to use me, I am here at His service, even in the middle of the night when everybody else is already asleep and snoring.
In Matthew 24:13 Jesus said, "But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” Now, I realize that there may be some readers who are still confused and don’t understand what Jesus said. Keep on reading. Please don’t hesitate to ask a question if you don’t understand.
In Matthew 20:16 Jesus furthermore said, "So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen." Whom was Jesus referring to when He said “the last will be first, and the first last”. The last that will be the first are Jesus’ followers who have just found Him but are obedient to Him until the end of time; and the first last are Jesus followers who are obedient to Jesus when they first found Him, but are no longer faithful till the end. That’s why Jesus had said in Matthew 24:13, "But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” And Jesus clarified and summarized what He had said - For many are called, but few chosen.” The few chosen endured to the end.
In Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me in that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'" And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!”
Do we know the will of our Father in heaven? No, I don’t think so. We know only the will of the Apostle Paul on work. But even that we don’t know for sure either. We are only guessing, like fitting a shoe that doesn’t fit.
Salvation is not only believing in Jesus, but also following Him, and doing the will of God the Father, by way of God the Son. Just believe in Jesus has not saved the demons, but believe in Jesus and do His will will save us. Do His will is evidence that we believe in Him. Believe in Jesus and do our will can never save us, never!
In Matthew 7:13 Jesus said, "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide [is] the gate and broad [is] the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it."Because narrow [is] the gate and difficult [is] the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
In summary, Jesus said in a few sentences that it is not easy to go to heaven, especially after the bad experience that God had with Adam and Eve, Lucifer and millions of his angels, and the rest of us. The standard for entry into the Kingdom of God is high. Logic tells me that the standard must be kept high, or otherwise we will have a repeat of a new Lucifer rebellion against God.
Salvation is available only to those who endure till the end! Salvation is not a sprint. Salvation is a marathon. Salvation is available only to those who believe in Jesus and follow Him. That, Bro, is the correct theology of Jesus Christ - Christianity.
Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.” John 10:27-28. IF we follow Him, He will give us eternal life; no one can snatch us from God the Father. If we follow our will, He will hand us over to Satan, just as what He did to my brother.
