Do we know how we were created according to the Bible?  Genesis 2:7 says “And the LORD God formed man [of] the  dust  of the ground , and breathed into his nostrils the  breath of life,  and man became a living being.” A man was made of dust or mud, and God breathed the breath of life into his nostrils, and he became a living being. The Apostle James said, “For the body without the spirit is dead.” James 2:26. James tells us that we have a body and a spirit . And the spirit or soul comes from God above. But our body comes from the ground below - dust or mud. The breath of life from God is our soul. The soul in us makes us alive. In other words, the body is the servant of the soul or spirit.  Many believers do not know that the “breath of life” is our soul. They think that it was just a breath that God breathed into the nostrils of man. No, the breath of life is our soul that makes us a living being. When we go to heaven, our souls or spirits go to heaven, ...

Revelation 22:14 says, “ Blessed [are] those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.”  Blessed are those who do what? God said blessed are those who do His commandments. Can we be blessed if we read only His commandments? No, we could not. Can we be blessed if we hear only His commandments? No, we could not either! Why not? Because heaven is reserved only for law-abiding citizens who do His commandments! Only law-abiding citizens can enter heaven, and no one else. That’s why Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love Me, keep My commandments.” When we keep His commandments (laws), that is evidence that we are law-abiding citizens. God wants only people who love Him to keep Him company in heaven, and no one else! Why? Because Christians who don’t love Him can and will betray Him, like Judas Iscariot, Adam and Eve, and the millions or billions of angels who also betrayed God. They like to argue wi...

  The Apostle Paul says that to receive grace or salvation from God we have to have faith, but no work. We have to believe that we are saved, and nothing else. Paul says that work, or good work, will not save us. Why? Because work will make us boast. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. James, on the other hand, says something different. “Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:17,24,26. I was tempted to get in between Paul and James and act like a referee. Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do. Luke 23:34 . They know what they are doing. Sure, they know what they are doing, but they don’t care. They may not know the consequences of what they are doing to their souls, but they know what they are doing. They believe that what they are doing is the right thing. Do we know what we are doing? Sure, we know what we are doing. But we continue to do it. Why? Because we need the money to pay our bills. We need the money to pay our mortgage or rent. We need the money to buy our food. We need money to pay for our luxury cars. So, we have to continue to tickle people’s ears, or otherwise we get no offerings and tithes. So, what do we do? Today I am going to write a few more words in case some of my readers are still not fully clear about what Jesus said when He said in Matthew 10:28, "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Why did Jesus say that we should fear a God that can kill the soul, and not kill the body only? Do you know why? Most Christians don’t know the answer. They think that once we are dead we are done, finished. Once we are punished and burned in hell to ashes, there is nothing more to it, right? No, you are wrong! Why? Because the holy spirit tells me that while killing our body doesn’t take much work, a simple lethal IV infusion or high voltage electric current of an electric chair will kill our body, killing our soul is a different story. Only God can kill our soul. Our soul is resistant to death! Our souls can last forever when God destroys them in hell. That's why the Bible talks about ...

Have you heard about cremation alive? Or, cremated alive? It's about living people who get burned to death. When I was a kid living in Indonesia, I had never heard about anyone alive who got burned to death in a hot flaming fire as punishment.  In Matthew 10:28 Jesus said, "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. We should always be careful when contacting any software company through the Internet for support. Because we don’t know who they are, and we don’t know their level of knowledge or competence. They may be just luring us onto the Internet to trap us. They know what we are looking for. How do they know that? They have been watching us closely day and night. Don’t go there! And don’t give them permission to enter your computer remotely to fix any issue. As I said, they may be luring and waiting to trap us, and they know that they can trap you. Ask them if they can help you just by chatting on the phone. If they say no, hang up the phone and call their official support number if there is another number . If you let them enter your computer remotely, be prepared to buy a new computer. A good desktop or laptop is not cheap. Do not trust anyone that you meet on the Internet!
