CREMATION ALIVE
Have you heard about cremation alive? Or, cremated alive? It's about living people who get burned to death. When I was a kid living in Indonesia, I had never heard about anyone alive who got burned to death in a hot flaming fire as punishment.
In Matthew 10:28 Jesus said, "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
Jesus said, "And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:30
"If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched.” Mark 9:43
"If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast [it] from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than have two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. Matthew 18:8. "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:29.
Have you ever wondered why Jesus said that it is better to lose an arm or an eye than to be cast into hell? Do you want to know why? The pain that we experience when someone plucks our eye out of its socket or chops our arm from our body is not as bad as when we are cast into hell. When we are cast into hell, our body and our soul or “jiwa” (spirit) will be burned. While it doesn’t take very long to kill our body, because they are subject to the laws of nature, to kill our soul or spirit or “jiwa” may take "forever," days, weeks, months, or years. It is subject to the laws of God, and not subject to the laws of nature. Our souls or spirit will be tortured for a long time in hell until we have served our sentence! And Satan will be treated the same way, but more severely. Jesus said that He will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 13:42. Do you understand what this verse says? I hope you do.
Our soul, spirit, or “jiwa” doesn’t disappear into thin air after we die. Look at Jesus. After the Jews tortured and killed Him, three days later he arose and was alive again. Why? Because His soul or “jiwa” did not die after the Jews beat and killed Him on the cross. The holy spirit wants me to write this warning to my readers.
Read what Jesus said in Matthew 10:8. "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” Do you know why He ordered us to raise the dead? Because He knew that we could do it. It could be done if we have the faith to do it. The soul, spirit, or “jiwa” of the dead does not disappear into thin air. The “jiwa” of the dead is not far away from the body of the dead. It remains with the owner.
I recently talked with a young pastor about raising the dead. And he sneered at me and said that Jesus was talking to His disciples, and not to us. Instead of admitting that he has no faith in Jesus, he made the usual excuses that a Context Christian would usually make.
Are we ready for his second coming? Are we ready to greet Him?
Hell is not a place where we want to spend our eternity. When our soul or “jiwa” is burned in hell there is no way we can get out of it until we have served our time/sentence. That was exactly the reason why Jesus said In Matthew 10:28, "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
Brothers and Sisters, The Great Tribulation is approaching quickly.
When we see Jesus at the end of time, will we hear Him say to us “Welcome, welcome..; or will we hear Him say to us, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' Matthew 7:23
