DO WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE DOING?

Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do. Luke 23:34.
They know what they are doing. Sure, they know what they are doing, but they don’t care. They may not know the consequences of what they are doing to their souls, but they know what they are doing. They believe that what they are doing is the right thing. But what they don’t know is this:
"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28.
Do we know what we are doing? Sure, we know what we are doing. But we continue to do it. Why? Because we need the money to pay our bills. We need the money to pay our mortgage or rent. We need the money to buy our food. We need money to pay for our luxury cars.
So, we have to continue to tickle people’s ears, or otherwise we get no offerings and tithes. So, what do we do? We continue to tickle people’s ears, that's what we do, stupid!
Sorry, I don’t mean to offend you or anyone else who reads this article. Don’t get mad. I just want you to be aware what God said, "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28.
But why on earth do we have to fear a God who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell, why? Do you want to know why? Because the punishments are different in quantity and quality.
According to Jesus, we have a body and a soul (spirit). James 2:26 says, The body without the spirit is dead. Satan is a spirit, but we are a body and a spirit. Our body is the servant of our soul or spirit. Satan knows what is coming to him, but most of us Christians do not know what is coming to us. We think that if we go to hell because we are disobedient to God, for instance, the worst that can happen to us is that we will be cremated alive for 5 minutes or less, become unconscious, and we will suffer pain no more. That’s true. But is that all? How about our spirit? How about our soul? Do we not know that if we are not saved our soul or spirit will be punished in hell also?
The people who crucified Jesus did not know that their souls or spirit would be tortured in hell.
And whether you believe it or not is up to you. I am just a messenger. Jesus said, "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28. This is a direct warning to us. Why would He say this to us if God’s punishment ends when our bodies die in hell? No, our souls or spirit will be punished in hell too if we are not saved. Why? Because as I said, our bodies are the servants of our souls. Did your pastor not tell you this? If he did not, ask for your money back! That is called spiritual malpractice.
It is very important for us to know that our souls will be punished too in case we go to hell, and not just our bodies!
Also, did I not tell you that our souls or spirits are resistant to death? It is very difficult to kill a spirit or soul. It is impossible for us to kill a demon or a spirit. Only God can kill a spirit. And He does this in hell. Whatever length of time it takes to kill our spirit or soul He will patiently wait until it is done, one hour, one day, or one year. In the meantime, we will be suffering severe pain, prolonged pain while our souls are being punished for what we do, or did not do. That's why Jesus taught us to pray and say, "And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us." We ask God to forgive our sins so our souls will be no longer punished in hell after we are dead because of the evils that we have committed. The Bible says that in hell there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Do you know why? Because hell is a "torture chamber" for souls who are disobedient to God! The Bible says, "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell." Do you know why? Plucking an eye is less painful than placing the whole body in a torture chamber for days, weeks, or months.
That's why Jesus said in Matthew 10:28, "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28. Do we understand what He was trying to tell us in Matthew 10:28?
I hear some people say that they don't believe in God's torture chamber. Read Genesis 6,7, and read for yourself how billions of disobedient souls perished from inhaling mud water in the big flood. What have they done? What have they done? “Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every intent of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually.
And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them." Genesis 6:5-7.
God destroyed them because  the intent of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil!
They were destroyed because they have bad intention. How about us? What were our intentions for violating God’s Holy Laws and Commandments? What were our intentions for lying to our church members? Jesus said, "and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth." Matthew 13:42
Do you know why you'll hear weeping and gnashing of teeth in hell? Because their souls are still alive even in hell.
God hates disobedient and evil people. That is why God forced them to inhale mud water during the big flood!
