INCONSISTENCIES AND CONTRADICTIONS

Today I am going to write about the contradictions and inconsistencies that I have found between the writings of the apostle Paul and the Spirit of Prophecy. Why am I doing this? Because if the source of the writing is the same, the result that flows from the source is the same and consistent with the source. There can be no difference in the result that we see. Let’s start. Paul wrote, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9.
The Spirit of Prophecy says, “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is [the Book] of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.” Revelation 20:12-13.
Paul said that we are saved by faith, and not by our work. Paul contradicts the Spirit of the Prophecy. When we see contradictions like this, we should immediately recognize that Paul’s idea of salvation does not come from the Spirit of Prophecy, does not come from the same source.
Revelation 20:12-13 says we are judged/saved by our work, and not by our faith. Why not faith? Why? Because the Apostle James says, “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:26. You see, a comment like this by another apostle questioning the validity of what another apostle wrote is a red sign that we all should take heed, and not to ignore just because Paul is our favorite apostle. Never ignore inconsistencies and contradictions that we found in the Bible. Why? Because that is how Satan works, through inconsistencies and contradictions to make us doubt!
How could we find the Truth if we treat inconsistencies and contradictions as the Truth? No, we cannot.
So, readers. Understand what we read, and not just swallow everything that we read. Be not gullible. Don’t overlook the dangers of being easily deceived. That, being easily deceived, could lead to sin.
