WOULD WE?

This evening I want to ask my dear readers some very important questions. Would we become "Christians" if there was no Jesus? Would we become "Christians" if Jesus did not die to redeem our sins? Would we become "Christians" if there was no Paul? Finally, would we become "Christians" if we know that we have to redeem our own sins?
I know that if I ask my Buddhist friends, or my Hindu friends, or my Muslim friends the same questions that I have asked my Christian readers, they would say that they probably would, except perhaps, the last question - to pay for our sins. Why?
Let me clarify what I meant. Christians are supposed to be followers of Jesus Christ, right? But they are not. They are followers of the Apostle Paul. They believe in Paul, and not in Jesus. They abolished all of Jesus' words. They do what Paul says or writes even though they do not fully understand his lawyer-style writings. And they don't do what Jesus clearly told them to do. Perhaps they should be called Paulians, a new term to describe followers of Paul, and not "Christians".
Isn't this strange? They follow Paul, but they expect Jesus to pay for their sins. For example, Jesus said in Matthew 5:23-24 "Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First, be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” Do we  understand what Jesus was saying? He was not talking about grace or mercy. He said that if we do not reconcile with the individual whom we have offended, He will not forgive our sins. He will not accept our sin offering. Don’t pray to Him, and don’t talk to Him. And do we know what the word reconcile means? According to Merriam-Webster the word reconcile means “to make friendly again, to settle by agreement.” And according to Dictionary.com the word reconcile means “to make amends, come to a truce, or settle a dispute.” Some Christian Biblical scholars say on the Internet that it doesn’t matter whether the other party will accept our “amends” or not, we have reconciled with the party whom we have offended when we say to them the word “sorry”. Really, is that what Matthew 5:23-24 says? If that is true, why then did Jesus have to die for our sins, why? Is that not what most Christians believe, that Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins? Could Jesus not just say “I’m sorry” to the Devil? Is that not what we believe that Jesus died for the sin of Adam and Eve and the rest of us? Why did Jesus have to die for our sins? Is a simple apology to the Devil not adequate to redeem our sin? It appeared to me that Jesus took an offense to our brothers seriously. I have not yet heard of Christians who self-redeem their sins. If they offended someone, they look hard for reasons to blame the other party for their pain. Brothers and Sisters. Self-redeeming our sins is not as easy as eating a stack of pancakes. Self-redeeming our sins is hard. Self-redeeming our sin against someone whom we have offended is a humiliating experience. If we are not prepared to sacrifice, don’t offend anyone. Don’t offend our parents, don’t offend our children, do not offend our maids, and don’t even offend our gardener. Offend no one, especially our heavenly Father! But Christians love to offend Jesus. Christians love to offend God the Son. But they lack the courage to offend Paul. When I talked negatively about Paul to my daughter some time ago she sounded shocked. She said that is blasphemy. Many Christians treated Paul as if he owned the Kingdom of Heaven. They say we should treat Paul with respect, especially when we don’t fully understand what Paul said or wrote. Since we follow Paul, why don't we ask Paul to pay for our sins? Leave Jesus alone when we don't love Him.
The Kingdom of God is a Government that is above and supersedes the authority of every government on earth! It’s a Government of Law, and not a Government of Grace.
I look at its history. Adam and Eve lost eternal life for violating God’s laws. Millions of angels were evicted from heaven because they too did not comply with the Laws of Heaven. The world perished during Noah’s time because the world also disregarded and violated God’s Laws. Millions or billions were swept away by deep water. History assured me that God the Father has no grace for people who don’t love Him and who don’t obey Him. He got rid of them all!
Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15)
"Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' (Matthew 7:21-23)
Do we know where we can find the will of the Father? Yes, we can find His will in the Torah or in the Old Testament and the New Testament.
They are found in His Laws that most Christians ignored. Would we become Christians if we have to redeem our own sins? And what do we do to redeem our sins? Jesus said, "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perishes, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right-hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:29-30.
The Kingdom of God is a Government of Laws, and not a government of grace. We have to work and do what He wants us to do before we can get His grace. Even the thief on the cross has to work for his salvation! He had to surrender himself to Jesus. That was his work.
