I FEEL LIKE CRAP

Jesus said, "The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil.” John 7:7. Have you ever wondered why He talked like that about us - sinners? He wanted to make us feel like crap. Do you know why? Because He wanted us to repent. He knows that we are full of crap. But do we know that we are full of crap? No, we do not know that. And preachers do not know that either.  When you hear preachers talk in church most say good things about us. Do preachers know what we do behind their backs? No, they do not know what we do in secret. But Jesus knows what we think and what we do in secret. He can read our minds and He can see what we do and He can hear what we say from high above. And that's why He said what He said in John 7:7 about us.
Why do preachers say good things about us when they do not know what we do and say behind their backs? Do you know why? Do you want to know why? Because if they talk about the evils that humans do, people will hate them, just like they hated Jesus. Members might throw rocks or shoes at them. Turn the TV on every day and hear what preachers say about the good things in us even though they don’t live with us under the same roof.
Hear this what Jesus said in Matthew 23:27, "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead [men's] bones and all uncleanness.” Nobody knows, except Jesus, what these Torah scholars and Pharisees do behind closed doors.
And so, why did Jesus talk about the evil works of the world? Why did Jesus talk about our evil works and thoughts? Do you want to know the truth? Because He wanted us to feel like crap. He wanted us to feel guilty about the bad things that we do in secret. He wanted us to feel guilty about our bad thoughts that preachers do not know. He wanted us to REPENT. The holy spirit will make us feel guilty when we have bad thoughts and do bad things. And if we feel bad enough (guilty) about the bad things that we do, that often can lead to repentance.
When I read again John 7:7 I began to believe that the number one reason why the Pharisees and scribes hated Jesus and crucified Him was that Jesus talked about the evil works of the world - the evil works of the Pharisees and scribes. He talked about the evil works that they do in secret. He talked about the evil works that we humans do behind closed doors. And by reminding us of the evil works that we do in secret, He wanted us to feel guilty and repent. He wanted us to feel guilty about the bad things that we do. He wanted us to feel guilty about our bad thoughts and habits and feel like crap. He wanted us to repent so we can be saved and live with Him in heaven.
Do you remember the story about the two thieves on the cross?
Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, "If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us." But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? "And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong." Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom." And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise." Luke 23:39-43.
The first thief who said blasphemous words toward Jesus did not feel guilty about what he did; the second thief felt guilty and was remorseful for what he did. Jesus saved the second thief.
So, why did I say all this? I want every preacher to start preaching this coming Sabbath and Sunday to make every member feel guilty about the bad things that they do behind closed doors. What do Preachers know about what people do behind closed doors? Preachers are experts on the evil works of the world. They read the Bible from front to back. Cyberpunks know how to hack us. Preachers know how to hack souls for the kingdom of God (in a good way, of course). Don’t worry, members who do nothing bad in secret will not leave your church. And members who do bad things behind closed doors have the opportunity to repent or leave.
Join Jesus, and start preaching about the evils of the world! John 7:7. God bless!
