CHRISTIAN PHARISEES

Just because you go to church doesn’t mean you’re going to go to Heaven.”
Going to Heaven is not easy. Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” (Matthew 7:21-23).
Jesus said that many will try to enter the kingdom of heaven but only a few will find it. Why? Because they do not do the will of the Father.
In Matthew 7:13-14 Jesus said, "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide [is] the gate and broad [is] the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow [is] the gate and difficult [is] the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Why did Jesus say that the road and gate to heaven are narrow and difficult to find? Because it is narrow and difficult. There is a lot of work to be done. And there is no free ride. And the standard of admission is set high.
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor [is] he who does not love his brother. (1John 3:8-10)
God wants us to shun evil. He wants us to shun evil every day, and not only when it is convenient. We are to avoid evil at all costs. Above all, do not plot any evil ideas or evil conduct. Stay away from unethical behavior.

Many Christians fail in their faith because they plan their evil acts today and then carry them out the next day as if God doesn’t see them. We have to practice righteousness, and avoid sin so we do not live in sin. There is no such thing as living in sin under grace, on earth, or in heaven!
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1John 4:1
Jesus said in Matthew 7:15, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
Then one said to Him, "Lord, are there few who are saved?" And He said to them, "Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.” Luke 13:23-24
Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every intent of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them." Genesis 6:5-7
God saw that the wickedness of man was great on earth. He saw no good works that they can take credit for, nothing! Millions or billions choked on mudwater and died during the big flood when He destroyed them.
Brothers and Sisters. If Jesus returns today, would He save us if the only salvation credit that we have in our name is Paul’s salvation by grace?
