Judgment day is the end of the world where everyone, the dead and the living, will be judged according to what they have done while they were alive, good or bad. What is good, or what is bad is determined by the Law of God.
When a lawyer asked Jesus how he can get eternal life, Jesus asked the lawyer, "What is written in the law? What is your reading [of it]?"
What is the Law of God? The Law of God is His Commandments, and nothing else. If Jesus asks a Christian what is written in the law, I bet he doesn’t know the answer. Why? Because he has trashed the law in the trash can. Or flushed them in the toilet, whichever is more convenient.
Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.” John 14:15,21,23,24.
Jesus’ words in John 14:15,21,23,24 are easy to understand unless the reader is senile, cannot read, “buta-huruf”, or is illiterate. Keeping God’s law and commandments is work. And God knows what we are capable of doing the work. So, don’t start by asking God for “grace”. Grace for what? Grace to circumvent His commandments. God cannot be fooled, Bro!
The Bible says that on Judgment Day we will all be judged according to what we do, or our work. What we do is defined by God’s commandments. What we do is defined by Him, and not by us. Therefore, it is extremely important for our salvation that we keep His commandments, and not abolish them.
The Bible says that both the living and the dead will be judged not based on faith in God, but based on whether we are or we are not doing the will of the Father. And the will of the Father is that we are obedient and follow His laws and commandments. Heaven has no place for non-law abiding citizens.
I also believe that everyone in Heaven has years of experience in Repentance.
Revelation 20:12 said, “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is [the Book] of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.”
Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'”
I believe that everyone in heaven has passed the strict test of obedience.
