WHAT CAN WE LEARN?
What can we learn from reading the Bible? I mean, what have we learned from reading the Bible? When I read the story of Adam and Eve, I saw that God has zero tolerance for sin. When I read the story of Lucifer I saw the same thing, God has no tolerance for sin. When I read the story of Noah, I came to the same conclusion, and that is that God has zero tolerance for sin.
Would the story of Lucifer, Adam and Eve, and billions of people who perished during the big flood end up differently if they would just repent? Or would they need a Savior to save them?
Let me start with what I know. A Savior cannot save anyone unless we can or will repent. From the story that I read about Lucifer, Adam and Eve, and the billions of people who drowned and perished during the big flood I saw no evidence that any of them was willing to repent.
Of those whom I know who are living in sin, or living in sin under grace, none of them is willing to repent either. They are happy to live in sin, or living in sin under grace until they die. Jesus said in Matthew 5:48, "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”
Can we be perfect if we live in sin? Can we be perfect if we live in sin under grace? No, we cannot! Why?
Because God has zero tolerance for sin. And the reason why He has not allowed Satan to kill those of us who live in sin or live in sin under grace is this: "The Lord is not slack concerning [His] promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9. He wants us to repent! Today is the best time to repent. Today may be our last chance to repent. Jesus said in Matthew 24:42, "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming." And we also don't know the time when He will allow Satan to take us to his kingdom. In Job 2:2 God said to Satan, "From where do you come?" So Satan answered the LORD and said, "From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it."

Do you know what Satan is doing on Earth? He is looking for souls that live in sin. He is looking for souls who refused to repent. Do we live in sin? Do we refuse to repent? If we do, Satan is looking for us. When we live in sin God doesn't protect us. How do I know that? Look at the billions of people whom God had destroyed during Noah's time. They were all living in sin.
But in the case of Job, the LORD said to Satan, "Behold, he [is] in your hand, but spare his life."
If Satan demands from God our unrepenting souls, will God say to Satan "spare his life"?
