WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT GOSSIP?

Today I like to write what the Bible says about gossip. But first, let’s first read how the word gossiping is defined. And what a gossiper is.
According to Webster's dictionary, a gossiper is defined as “a person who habitually reveals personal or sensational facts about others.” This person can be anybody, a female or a male, a janitor, a garbage collector, or even a professional person such as a church pastor, a medical assistant, a nurse, a dentist, or even a doctor. I know of a female pastor who starts a conversation with gossip. She starts the conversation by asking me a question about a person whom we both know well. I think this pastor is consumed by gossip.
Romans 1:29 describes a gossiper as being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; [they are] whisperers.``
2 Corinthians 12:20 says, “For I fear lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I wish, and [that] I shall be found by you such as you do not wish; lest [there be] contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, backbitings, whisperings, conceits, tumults;”
1 Timothy 5:13 says, “And besides they learn [to be] idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not.”
2 Thessalonians 3:11, “For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies.”
James 1:26 says, “If anyone among you thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion [is] useless.” What good is a useless religion?
Lucifer, a gossiper, ruined the peace in Heaven before he was evicted from Heaven. I don't believe God will admit any gossiper to ruin the peace on the New Earth. Gossipers and busybodies have no place in Heaven. God evicted Lucifer and millions, or billions of angel-gossiper from Heaven.
Can gossip lead to slander? Yes, frequently it does. Slander leads to the lowering of one’s reputation.
I believe that gossip is a toxic, bad habit of unsuccessful people. Unsuccessful people have an urgent need to increase their self-esteem.
