LOVE IS A TWO WAY STREET
Jesus said he who keeps His commandments will be loved by His Father. He who does not love Him does not keep His word.
Many male and female pastors and preachers do not know that love is a two-way street. They think that God only loves us, that’s it, and we don’t have to love Him in return. They think that God’s love is a one-way street. And that was the reason why the majority of Christian pastors and preachers abolished God’s commandments and taught their members to forget about God’s commandments because God’s love for us is a one-way street. In other words, Protestant preachers and ministers tell their members that their salvation is not dependent on their keeping of God’s laws, but based on Paul’s teachings of faith and grace.
That is exactly what Martin Luther, a Catholic monk, said centuries ago. What have the Protestants reformed?
Paul basically says that we are not saved by works, doing what God wants us to do in His laws, but through faith and grace.
But Jesus clearly said in Matthew 7:21-23, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me in that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'”
Jesus rejected these people of great faith only for one reason - they did not follow the law.
Do we keep Jesus' commandments? No, we keep Paul's commandments. We love Paul, and not Jesus.
