LAW-ABIDING
Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments” John 14:15. Do readers understand why Jesus wants us to keep His commandments only, and not the commandments of anybody else? Jesus could have said keep the commandments of His disciples as well, but He did not. Here is the reason why. "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?" Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” John 14:21-23. Jesus said that if we love Him by keeping His commandments, God will come to us and live with us. That is His personal promise. Don’t we want God to live with us when He returns? Or don’t we want to live with God when Jesus returns? Which is it? I have a feeling that those Christians who abolished God’s commandments don’t want God to live with them. They want Paul to live with them so they can continue to live in sin under “grace”.
God doesn’t want to live with Adam and Eve, Lucifer and his angels, and billions of souls who drowned during the big flood. They all have decided to live in sin. God took salvation away from them. They showed no evidence of repentance. And they have earned no grace from God, zero. They showed no work that God would accept.
Why did Jesus say that He wants to live with us if we keep His commandments? He doesn’t want to live with us if we practice lawlessness. Matthew 7:21-23. He doesn’t want to live with us if we are not law-abiding citizens. He doesn’t want to live with us if we disobey His commandments. He doesn’t want to live with us if we practice lawlessness.
No sin of any kind can enter heaven, none! Heaven is sterile of sin. Can we be sterile of sin? Jesus said, "If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast [it] from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast [it] from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire.” Matthew 18:8-9.

Do you know why Jesus said these words? He wants us to know that heaven is sterile of sin.
