THE WILL OF THE FATHER
Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23. Who did Jesus say will go to heaven? He who does the will of Jesus’ Father will go to heaven, and no one else. Who is the Father of Jesus? In order to understand who the Father of Jesus is we must know that there is only ONE God, not two or three. And Paul is not one of them. I hope none of my readers will become upset when I say Paul is not one of them. He was called, but not chosen, like many others. And so, I want to assure my readers that Jesus Christ, God the Son, God the Father, Yahweh, YHWH, Jehovah, and whatever name He is referred to in the Old and New Testaments all is pointing to my heavenly Father, Jesus Christ. There is only one Jesus Christ. There is only one YHWH. There is only ONE God. Unless we do the will of Jesus Christ, He will reject us. Unless we do the will of YHWH, He will reject us. Read again Matthew 7:21-23. Lastly, and this is very important for all of my readers to understand what the will of Jesus Christ is. Here’s what the will of Jesus Christ is. He wants to live with us. Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?" Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.” John 14:15,21,22-24.
Do we want to live with Jesus Christ, or do we want to live with Paul of Tarsus? If we want to live with Jesus, we must keep His commandments. Jesus said, "Come to Me, all [you] who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. "For My yoke [is] easy and My burden is light." Matthew 11:28:30.
Make our decision today, Bro! Jesus Christ is coming soon. Don't let Satan keep us in this world - his cage.
