JESUS, FORGIVE MY SINS
"When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put [it] on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed their knees before Him and mocked Him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" Then they spat on Him, and took the reed and struck Him on the head. And when they had mocked Him, they took the robe off Him, put His [own] clothes on Him, and led Him away to be crucified. And when they had come to a place called Golgotha, that is to say, Place of a Skull, they gave Him sour wine mingled with gall to drink. But when He had tasted [it], He would not drink. Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet: "They divided My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots." Matthew 27:29-31,33-35.
“Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." And they divided His garments and cast lots.” Luke 23:34.
“Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.” Matthew 18:21-22.
"In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom comes. Your will be done On earth as [it is] in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” Matthew 6:9-13.
Brothers and Sisters. I make a habit of including this short phrase in my daily prayer in the morning when I get up, or at night before I go to bed - And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Why? Because I do not want debts that we owe to each other prevent us from living with Jesus.
