MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES
“Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away." So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive [them], and you will have [them]. Mark 11:20-24.
Because I believe mental health issues can be treated in church through faith. People who are demon possessed, or psychotic, or who have mental health issues can be treated in church through faith. People who are hallucinating, or seeing things that are not there, need treatment by a physician, or by the church. The church can be seen as a clinic for people with mental health problems. If we have a physical illness, we go to a medical clinic. If we have mental health issues, where do we go for treatment? Go to a church that we trust! That's why your pastor is there for. He is the shepherd of the flock. Jesus took care of people with mental health issues. A church is a good place to help people with mental health issues. God bless!
