TOTAL OBEDIENCE
Readers, do you know why Adam and Eve were evicted from the Garden of Eden? Do you know why Lucifer and millions of his angels were evicted from heaven? And do you know why they were all evicted to planet earth, and not to other planets? The reason why I believe they were evicted to planet earth is because other planets totally obey the laws of God, but planet earth doesn’t. And that, I believe, was the reason why God plans to replace planet earth with the new earth when He returns. Every human being that disobeyed Him will be destroyed by fire, body and soul, and every spirit that is against Him will be burned in hell in eternal fire. None of the words that I use here is hyperbole, none! If you don’t believe me, wait until Jesus returns on Judgment Day.
"The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 13:41-42.
Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23. Do you know why Jesus rejected these men/women of great faith? Because they did not totally obey Jesus. God wants total obedience, and not partial obedience from us, nothing less than total obedience!
Have I always obeyed God totally? No, oh no, but I always try to obey Him, and He has been merciful to me and my household as long as we are willing to repent. I believe that as long as He sees in us a hope, a light, however small, that we will change, or repent, He will wait for us. The Apostle Simon Peter said, “The Lord is not slack concerning [His] promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9. Jesus has been waiting for you and me for a long time. Jesus has been waiting for us for a long time. Thank you Jesus for bearing with us for so long. I love you and I will always love you. We love you too.
If we think that we have not been totally obedient to Him, don’t panic. Just keep on doing what He wants us to do for Him, and do not stop doing them until we reach the finish line. Why? Because Jesus said, "For many are called, but few are chosen." Matthew 22:14. "But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” Jesus said in Matthew 24:13.
Do we endure till the end, or do we endure only until yesterday? No, don’t give up trying. We are close, very close to the finish line.
Jesus said, "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. "In My Father's house are many mansions; if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, [there] you may be also.” John 14:1-3. Jesus is patiently waiting for the little light in us that one day would light the whole world! Jesus, please let that happen quickly so I can see every sheep that follows You will honor Your name while I am still alive. Right now many Christians are trashing You and Your words, and honoring Paul. They have chosen Paul as their Shepherd. They follow Paul, and not You. All this must happen to fulfill Your prophecy, "For many are called, but few are chosen." Matthew 22:14. Few are chosen because they do not follow Jesus. They follow whomever they want to follow. Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10:27.
