PERFECT SCORE
Jesus said, "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:48. Jesus also said, "Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” Matthew 5:23-24. Do you know why Jesus wants us to reconcile with the brother who has something against us? Because if we don’t, we can not reach the level of perfection that Jesus wants us to attain. Jesus or Yahweh said, "You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.” Matthew 5:38-39. Do you know why our heavenly Father said that? Because if we resist an evil person, more evil may come our way, and we may not reach the perfection that God wants us to achieve. In fact, we may never reach the level of perfection that our Father wants us to attain if we resist an evil person. "If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have [your] cloak also.” Matthew 5:40. "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more [than others]? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you SHALL be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:43-48.
Why did Jesus say you shall be perfect? Because the standard of heaven is perfection. How can we reach perfection? Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?" Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.” John 14:15,21-24.

Brothers and sisters. Are you aware that all of the great prophets such as Abraham, Moses, Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Enoch, and many others in the Old Testaments were keepers of the laws of Moses that Moses received from God? Are you aware? Here's is what your prophet Moses said, "You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.” Deuteronomy 4:2. Jesus and the prophet Moses want us to keep God's commandments.
If you are aware, then why are millions of the Gentiles following Paul, aka Saul, and not following Jesus and the prophet Moses, why? I suspect that the primary reason why Christians are attracted to Paul’s teachings is the word “grace”. Many, if not the majority of Christians, love to live in sin under “grace”. In fact, they are using “grace” as an excuse to do what God prohibits them from doing. “Grace” is never to be used by any Christians to do what God forbids Christians to do, never! Grace is a reward for doing what God wants us to do, and not an excuse for doing what God prohibits us from doing. And all Christians should stop using the word “grace” as an excuse to do what YAHWEH or Jesus Christ prohibits us from doing. Instead, use this word REPENT. When I make a mistake, I ask God to forgive me, and repent. If I should make another mistake tomorrow, I ask God to forgive me again, and I repent. I believe that through repentance we can become perfect. Jesus said, "But he who endures to the end shall be saved." Matthew 24:13.
Without repentance, no one can endure till the end, none!
