WHAT'S WRONG WITH JUDAISM?
If you ask me what’s wrong with Judaism, my honest answer to you is nothing! There is nothing wrong with Judaism.
"Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples, 'The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.'" Matthew 23:1-3.
Jesus finds nothing wrong with Judaism either. “You must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach," Jesus warned us. I believe in what Jesus said. In fact, I believe in everything that He says. Why? Because Jesus Christ is not a people pleaser. He is true to His words. He is not a politician looking for a job. Do you, Bro, believe in Jesus Christ? If you say you do, are you following him? Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10:27. If you follow Him, and do what He tells you to do, that’s good. That is very good! That is how a true Christian should be, a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10:27. If you are not, why not? If you say because He is a Jew, so is the apostle Paul. Why are you following Paul, a Jew, and not Jesus Christ, also a Jew? Can you give me a straight answer?
Jesus believes in the Torah, and He does everything that the Torah teaches people to do including doing good on the Sabbath. God is the Author of the Torah. During His ministry on earth He does nothing differently than what He teaches or believes, unlike the Pharisees who do not do what they teach or preach. Readers, are you doing what the Torah teaches you to do? The words of God are not for the Jews only. The words of God are also for the Gentiles, aka the Pagans, aka the Christians. The words of God are for all human beings. The words of God know no boundaries, no race, no ethnicity, and no color. Jesus said, "I am the good shepherd; and I know My [sheep], and am known by My own. "And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock [and] one shepherd.” John 10:14,16. Jesus’ plan is to save both the Jews and the non-Jews; the Jews and the Pagans.
Readers, are you aware that the Torah, God’s commandments, is an extension of the first law that God gave to Adam and Eve which says, "But of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God has said, `You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'" Genesis 3:3. Adam and Eve ignored God’s law and consequently they lost eternal life. God found no grace in them. You know the story about Lucifer and millions or billions of his angels who were evicted from heaven. What did they do? They also ignored God’s laws. God saw no grace in them either, and God promptly evicted them from heaven. No mercy! Do you know why billions of souls perished during the big flood? They too ignored God’s laws. And God drowned them all in mud water. God saw no grace in them either. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Genesis 6:8. Do you want to know why? Because Noah loves God. Noah was obedient to God. He listened to what God told him to do, build a boat up high in the mountains, even though it makes no sense. Bro, God's laws are not for the Jews only as many Christians think. God's laws are for everybody who wants to live with Jesus in heaven. Jesus said to His listeners, "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?" Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. "He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.” John 14:15,21-24. Brothers and Sisters. Why can we not learn from history? God took away salvation from everyone who ignored God’s commandments, even from those who are already saved! Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23. Whether we are a Jew, or not a Jew, if we practice lawlessness we will not see grace in the Lord's eyes!
