THE ALTERNATIVE
Jesus said, "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast [it] from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:29-30.
Jesus said if any of our body parts causes us to sin, cut it off, or pluck it out; for it is more profitable for us that one of our members perish, than for our whole body to be cast into hell. Readers, do you understand what Jesus was telling us? Jesus hinted that He doesn’t want to suffer pain or death to pay for our sin. He wants us to suffer pain or lose an organ or part of our body to pay for our sin - cut it off, or pluck it out! He offers nothing to pay for our sin! Do we understand what Jesus said and implied in Matthew 5:29-30? If we don’t, we should go back to the University where we got our Biblical degree from, and demand that they give us a full refund of the tuition that we have paid them! Ask them to show us a text in the Bible where Jesus had said that He died on the cross to pay for our sin. It is totally absurd to believe that Jesus had said that He would die to pay for our sin in spite of what He said in Matthew 5:29-30. If Paul had said that, yes I believe. Why? Because he is a politician. But Jesus HATES sin. That’s why He said “cut it off, or pluck it out” in simple terms so nobody can misunderstand what He said. Jesus hates sin, and that’s why He killed billions of sinful people during the big flood during Noah’s time.
The idea that Jesus died to pay for our sin is a dirty scheme to get rich overnight. Read again carefully what Jesus said in Matthew 5:29-30. Hire an attorney to interpret Matthew 5:29-30 if we have to. And so, what can we do if we have committed a sin? Do we cut our arm off? No! Why not? Because cutting a hand off or removing an eyeball is an extremely painful procedure, especially without pain killers. What is the alternative? The alternative is to repent. That's what Jesus prefers us do if we are amenable to change. IF we can still repent. But most of us are stubborn! And to repent is not easy. Ask all the pastors and preachers who have misled their members for decades into believing that, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. Millions of Christians have been brainwashed by pastors and preachers to believe that Ephesians 2:8-9 are Jesus' words. No, they are not! They contradict Jesus' teachings 100%. Those are the words of Paul, aka SAUL, and not Jesus’ words. Verify with your Bible. Abolishing the words of Jesus is Satan’s idea. Why? Because the words of Jesus are what the Holy Spirit is all about. HOLY SPIRIT=WORDS OF JESUS. When we abolished the words of Jesus, there would be no Holy Spirit to help us, forever! We have humiliated and insulted the Holy Spirit. We have committed the unpardonable sin. And that’s exactly what Lucifer wants - no Holy Spirit to help us. No words of Jesus to remind us when we are off course in our journey toward heaven. Satan wants us to go to hell now! Finally, I want all my readers to be smart. Don't believe everything that we hear from the pulpit. God bless.
