Today we are going to continue to study the Bible on topics that most preachers don’t want to talk about. Jesus said, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one title will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” Matthew 5:17-18. Readers, do you understand what Jesus says in this text? Nothing will pass from the law or the Book of the Prophets until all is fulfilled. The law remains unchanged until the end of time. Brothers and Sisters, when Jesus died on the cross has all been fulfilled that the law and the Book of the Prophets say? NO, Satan and his human agents are still making fun of Jesus until today. All that the law and the Book of the Prophets say have been abolished by the enemies of Jesus before heaven and earth pass away. They are no longer found on our prayer table. They are floating in our septic tank.
God said, "You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.” Deuteronomy 4:2
Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23.
"For My yoke [is] easy and My burden is light." Matthew 11:30. Jesus said, His burden is light, and following Him is easy. Why then am I still hearing Christians complain that it is hard to follow Jesus and easy to follow Paul? Here’s why, because we like to do things behind closed doors. When we do things behind closed doors, following Jesus is hard, and following Paul is easy. Paul has no clear rules about doing things behind closed door. Why? Because under Paul we can live in sin under “grace.”
