IF YOU LOVE ME

Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15.

Jesus did not ask everybody to keep His commandments. No, He did not. There is no need at all to sweat. So, why are we sweating if we don’t love Him? If we say that we love Jesus but we don’t give a crap what He says, then we should start sweating. Why? Because God doesn’t like liars. God hates liars. Or, do we think that Jesus loves liars? One of the Ten Commandments says that we should not bear false witness, such as claiming that we love Jesus when in reality we don't love Him.

If we don’t want to keep His commandments, do not say that we love Him when we do not. That’s a lie. That’s a sin. Sin separates us from God. The more sin we commit, the farther apart we are from God, until we reach the point of no return. There is no guarantee that God will forgive our sin, no guarantee. How do I know that? Look at Adam and Eve. Suppose God looks at us as if we are Adam and Eve. He gave them no second chance, out from the garden. Look at the thief on the cross. Jesus saves him. Can we not learn the lesson from Adam and Eve and the thief on the cross? God looks at the heart of the thief on the cross. God looks at the hearts of Adam and Eve. Whether or not He will save us depends on what He sees in us, our hearts, not on how many times a day we can recite the Lord’s prayer. Readers, can you understand me? We should be working on our hearts instead of memorizing Bible verses. Look at the thief on the cross. I bet He doesn’t know a verse in the Bible, yet Jesus saves him.

God looks at our hearts. Why? "The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the LORD, search the heart, [I] test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.” Jeremiah 17:9-10. Whether or not God will forgive us of our sins depends on what He found in our hearts.

God’s forgiveness of our sins is not cheap. God’s forgiveness of our sins depends on what He found in our hearts, and our hidden motives.

I was not priviliged to know the heart of the thief on the cross whom God the Father had saved and the hearts of Adam and Eve  whom God had evicted from the garden. But I have a strong feeling that the thief on the cross had shown regret and remorse for what He had done, whereas Adam and Eve did not.

Have we shown remorse and regret for lying to God when we said that we love Him but in reality we do not? What are we going to do about it? Are we going to start keeping His commandments, or are we going to continue to ignore His will?

I have nothing to offer you other than my time posting my articles, and you hackers have nothing to offer me other than hacking me day and night. Have you shown remorse for hacking me?

Forgiveness of sin begins with a feeling of remorse. This is where it all starts. We can pray for forgiveness of sin 24 hours a day until our face turns blue, but unless we deeply regret what we have done, and unless we are truly remorseful of our sins, God will not hear us. God will not forgive us. He reads our hearts. Every hacker should return the money that they get from the church for hacking me day and night.
