DO YOU MEAN IT?

Jesus said in Luke 6:46, "But why do you call Me `Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say?” Readers, do you know why Jesus asked this question? Because He knows that we are not doing what He wants us to do, and I know it too. What is it that Jesus wants us to do?
Here is what Jesus wants us to do: “But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. Then one of them, a lawyer, asked [Him a question], testing Him, and saying, "Teacher, which [is] the great commandment in the law?" Jesus said to him, "`You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' "This is [the] first and great commandment. "And [the] second [is] like it: `You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' "On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 22:34-40.
Jesus referred to the Law and the Books of the Prophets in both the Old and New Testaments. Jesus said that we are to love the LORD our God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind and the second, like it, love our neighbor as ourself.
I heard someone say that he loves his neighbor as himself. Really? Does he really mean it?
