TEMPORARY

Readers, our life in this world is short and only temporary. Where do we go after we are dead? Satan gives us only one choice, and that is eternal death. But Jesus gives us two choices, eternal death or eternal life with Him in heaven. What do we want? If we want eternal life we have to start with this. Jesus said in Luke 6:46, "But why do you call Me `Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say?” We have to do what Jesus says, and nothing else matters. Why? Because Satan can use the apostles to deceive us, but he can never use Jesus to deceive us, never!. How do we know that His apostle has been deceived by Satan? By what he says, by his teachings. If his words are contrary to what Jesus teaches, contrary to what God’s prophets have taught us for generations, stay away from him as far as you can, avoid him like the most infectious disease known today.

Jesus also said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23. These Christians of great faith whom Jesus has rejected have also been deceived by Satan. They have become lawbreakers. Do what Jesus and God the Father have told us to do, and ignore everything else. Satan has been deceiving us since the time when Jesus was crucified until today, tomorrow, and until Jesus returns. Readers, I want you to be alert, always be alert for Satan’s deception.

In the meantime, what can we do while we wait for Jesus’ return?

Jesus said, "Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:48.

How can we be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect? I believe one way we can do this is by being totally obedient to Him. When we do this His character replaces our character. Keep on working, keep on striving, and when He returns we will hear Him say to us, “Welcome, I have known you for a long time. Welcome!”
