THE NEW vs THE OLD COVENANT
Biblical scholars talk a lot about the new covenant vs the old covenant as if they are two different covenants. No, I don’t believe so. Why? Because the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is an extension of the Old Covenant. Why did I say this? Because Jesus said, “For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me.”John 6:38. "For I have not spoken on My own [authority]; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. "And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak." John 12:49-50.
So, Jesus came to earth was part of Yahweh’s overall plan to save the world, and not to die to pay for our sins. That was not His plan. How do I know that? Because Jesus said, "In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as [it is] in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen." Matthew 6:9-13. All we have to do is ask God to forgive our sins, not to do them again, and He will fogive us. So, why would Jesus need to die to pay for our sins? It's all to make us feel guilty to make the false prophets and the Beast rich. The Jews did not recognize Jesus as the Son of God and they crucified Him. That was a mistake. But God had forgiven them. “Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." And they divided His garments and cast lots.” Luke 23:34. Readers, how could the death of anyone who was killed by MISTAKE have any redeeming value for forgiving our sins? Don’t the Biblical scholars know that Jesus was killed by mistake? Don’t we know that Jesus was killed by MISTAKE? Jesus had long forgiven the sins of the Jews who killed Him. Has Jesus forgiven our sins for ignoring His laws, the Ten Commandments? No. Why? Because the false prophet had brainwashed our brain and made us believe that Jesus, who was killed by mistake, had paid for our sins when we eloped with somebody’s wife or husband last year.
Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23.
Readers, do you know who these people were whom Jesus rejected? They were men/women of great faith. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'” They sound like students of the false prophet. "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23. They are lawbreakers. I have no doubt that they are students of the false apostle, the lawbreaker.
Readers, do you know what will happen to the men/women of great faith described in Matthew 7:21-23. Great disappointment, nothing but disappointments.
“Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number [is] as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet [are]. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” Revelation 20:7-10. So, the devil will be cast out into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. We know that the devil, the beast, and the false prophet will be cast out into the lake of fire and they will be tormented day and night. Do you know why they will be tormented day and night into the lake of fire? Because they have been deceiving the world since God created the world, the beginning of time, until Jesus returns, described in Matthew 7:21-23, the period of pagan Christianity.
Jesus was killed by MISTAKE. The death of anyone who was killed by mistake can have no redeeming value, none, in any covenant, old or new. Jesus had sacrificed nothing for our sins other than the work that He did for us while on earth. We have to pay for our sins. We have to BEG Him to forgive our sins. See Matthew 7:21-23.
