WHAT ELSE?
Readers, I found it difficult to understand the charges that Jesus accused me of doing. And I am asking you all to explain and help me understand. This is what I found this morning. Jesus said in Luke 6:46, "But why do you call Me `Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say?” In Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'”
First, Jesus accused me of not doing His will, and then He accused me of not doing the will of His Father in heaven. Whose will are we doing now? We follow and do what Jesus’ apostles had told us to do in the Scripture, e.g. Paul, James, Peter, and a few others. We also try to follow and do some of the teachings of the prophets who wrote the Old Testament. Were they not all the will of Jesus and the will of God the Father? Or are there some more? I wonder if we are found guilty of not doing the will of Jesus what our punishment will be, and what our punishment will be if we are found guilty of not doing the will of Jesus and the will of God the Father. Readers, sorry, I have to end this article now. I have to take a break. I have been up since 5AM.
