OMG
Readers, do you know that only God the Father can forgive our sins, not a pastor, not a preacher, not a Catholic priest, and not even Jesus. How do I know that?
Jesus said in John 12:47, "And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.” In other words, determining who is guilty and who is not guilty is not Jesus’ job. Sentencing or pardoning is not Jesus’ job either. It is the job of God the Father.
One of His disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. Jesus said,
Matthew 6:9 "In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
Matthew 6:10 “Your kingdom comes. Your will be done on earth as [it is] in heaven.
Matthew 6:11 “Give us this day our daily bread.
Matthew 6:12 “And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
Matthew 6:13 “And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Jesus taught us to pray to God the Father for the forgiveness of our sins. Pray to God the Father for the forgiveness of our sins.
When Jesus was dying on the cross He pleaded to His Father in heaven, and said, “Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." And they divided His garments and cast lots.” Luke 23:34. Jesus asked His Father in heaven to forgive those who have crucified Him.
In Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
These men and women of great faith have done wonders in Jesus’ name, cast out demons in Jesus’ name. What did Jesus say to them? "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Jesus could not pardon them because they have offended God the Father.
I hope I have given you, my precious readers, sufficient proof that only God the Father can forgive our sins. Jesus cannot forgive our sins, pastors and preachers cannot forgive sins; none could except God the Father.
This is very important for my readers to know and understand. Why? Because if we believe that Jesus had died to pay for our sins, and He had not, believe me that we are not making ourselves happy! We will be buried with our sins. And Satan will be happy to see that we are finally buried under our sins.
OMG, oh my goodness. I have ignored the Ten Commandments, I have made fun of the Sabbath, I have abused my elderly parents, I have stolen properties from people, I have committed adultery, I took my neighbor's wife, and I worship marijuana. Can God the Father still forgive me, I hear someone ask. Yes, pray to God the Father. And repent. He will hear you. OMG, God the Father is the Author of the Ten Commandments.
