WHO WILL GO TO HEAVEN?
Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Matthew 7:21-23.
Readers, Jesus said that unless we do the will of Jesus’ Father in heaven we cannot go to heaven. That is the standard of admission, except for the one thief on the cross, a rare exception. Why were these men/women of great faith rejected? Because they were deceived by Satans who appeared as humans. How is that? Because human agents of Satan made sure that we would not know what the will of Jesus’ Father is. What is the will of Jesus’ Father? “but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.” Exodus 20:6. That’s why these men/women of great faith were found guilty of practicing lawlessness. They did not keep God’s commandments. They like to bow down to carved images, lie, cheat, go to the casinos on the Sabbath, dishonor their parents, commit adultery, elope with somebody’s husband or wife, or coveting. Satan and his agents are everywhere, even in “sacred” places. Satan works day and night to deceive us. When I say Satan has not deceived me, it already has.
There are many ways that Satan can deceive us. Be extra-extra cautious in what we do or say every day. God bless.
