ONE COMMANDMENT AT A TIME (7)
God said, “You shall not steal”. Exodus 20:15. Why is stealing a sin? Why? Number one because stealing is against the will of God. Anything that we do that is against the will of God is a sin. Number two, stealing is a crime. Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” Matthew 7:21. Are we doing the will of God the Father? I want you to think carefully, very carefully before you answer me. Why? Because many, millions or billions of men and women of great faith will say to Jesus on the day when He returns 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me you who practice lawlessness!'. Matthew 7:22-23.
Jesus rejected them because they are liars, my next topic. They claimed that they have faith in God, but they practiced lawlessness, against the will of God.
