FATHER KNOWS BEST
Jesus said, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.” Matthew 5:17.
The apostle Paul wrote, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9.
The apostle James wrote, “What [does it] profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what [does it] profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” James 2:14-17.
Jesus said in Matthew 7-21-23, "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'”
Readers, who is right, Jesus, James, or Paul?
Doing the will of Jesus’ Father is WORK. Following His commandments is work, and not faith. Matthew 7:21-23.
The apostle James said, “faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”
And Paul wrote, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
I say there is only one way to salvation, and that is by doing the will of Jesus’ Father, by following His commandments. God the Father said so through His Son, Jesus Christ. Matthew 7:21-23.
I was born and raised in a country where people have the freedom to believe in Allah, Jesus, or Satan. With Satan you have to have a lot of FAITH. I know that for a fact. My father-in-law, now deceased, is a Satan worshipper.
All these men/women that you read in Matthew 7:21-23 have great faith. Jesus sent them all straight to HELL because they have no work. They do not do the will of Jesus’ Father. Is there where we want to go with our faith? Is that smart?
The Spirit reminded me this morning to tell you my readers that the only sure way of going to heaven is by doing the will of Jesus’ Father, and not by faith. Salvation by faith and no work was Paul’s wrong and confused idea.
Read again Matthew 7:21-23. Jesus sent the men and women of great faith to hell. Why? Because they do not do the will of Jesus' Father. They practice lawlessness. They are faithful lawbreakers.
