JESUS VS PAUL
I am going to write something different today. It’s about a match between Jesus and the apostle Paul. Who is telling the truth?
Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Paul says that we are saved by faith, and not by works or anything that we do.
Jesus, however, said in Matthew 7:21-23,
"Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” Jesus said not everyone who prayed to Jesus and said Lord, Lord, will go to heaven but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many, perhaps millions or billions of Christians all over the world defended their faith in Jesus as a reason why they should get a pass to heaven. They, men and women, of great faith in Jesus said, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And Jesus answered, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'”
Readers, who is telling the truth, Jesus or Paul? More importantly, we want to know who inspired Paul to write Romans, Galatians, Ephesians, and other books in the Bible? Who is telling the truth?
Jesus said in Matthew 5:17, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.” The Law came from Jesus’ Father, not from the apostle Paul, and none of Jesus’ disciples is a Prophet, NONE. And even if there is one or two, if they do not do the will of Jesus’ Father, they will go to hell too. That’s what Jesus said!
Do we know what the will of Jesus’ Father is?
